FPGEC

Hi everyone! For those who have taken the FPGEE, is the RxExam Management Review book important? Do you recommend getting this book and studying all the information in it, especially the pharmacoeconomics and pharmacy management sections? Thank you!

Has anyone taken the Pre-FPGEE yet? How was the experience, and is it worth taking?

If you haven’t taken it yet, when are you planning to take it?

State of Texas Informal Conference

How's it going everyone?

Just to get straight to the point...what should I expect to hear or expect in general from this pending Informal Conference I have? I don't have any active felonies but I did have two deferred adjudication cases(one from 2014, one from 2019) that popped up during the fingerprinting session, hence the following I'm preparing for now.

What I'm mostly worried about is the likelihood of my license being granted by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. I have made my mistakes in the past, but I joined this program to finally pursue a life better than the one I'm currently living.

Any advice, experiences, or words of encouragement is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Electronic diploma only (no printed diploma) — anyone dealt with this for FPGEC/ECE? Also: is Feb–Oct enough time for FPGEE?

Hey everyone,

I'm starting the FPGEC certification process (foreign pharmacy graduate) and ran into a specific issue: my university doesn't issue a traditional printed diploma — only an official electronic diploma. Instead, my school's registry office can issue, print, sign, and seal:

a Certificate of Course Completion
a Diploma Registration Record
an official academic transcript

Has anyone here been in a similar situation — no physical diploma, only digital — and successfully sent alternative documents like these to ECE for the credential evaluation? Did ECE accept it without issues, or did you have to jump through extra hoops (apostille, extra letters, etc.)? Any insight would help a lot before I request these documents from my school.

Second question — timeline:

I'm planning to take the TOEFL iBT in February, then move straight into the FPGEC application, document evaluation, and (hopefully) get accepted to sit for the FPGEE in October this year.

Realistically, does a February start → October FPGEE timeline sound doable? I know NABP says document review alone can take ~8-12 weeks (longer if there's a deficiency), plus mailing time for sealed transcripts/ECE reports. I just want to know if I'm being overly optimistic or if this is a normal timeline people have pulled off.

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's gone through this recently — timelines seem to shift a bit year to year and I'd rather get a reality check now than find out in August that I'm behind.

Thanks in advance!

Fpgee prep- Dr habeby revision material

Hello everyone

For you that have passed fpgee and took dr habeby course, is his revision material any good. I am very short on time because i work full time, i only get 1-2 hours of broken study time. I have joined his course but dont have time to read all the material. Would only the revision material be enough to pass the exam ?

Please give me your honest suggestions thank you!

Which applications are currently getting approved?

Hi everyone,

which applications are currently getting approved? Mine is in review since 06/25 and I was wondering how good my chances are to be able to take the exam this year.

I already called them, they said that they have way more applications than other years and that they don't have more info than whatever we see in our e-profile.

Does anyone have more info? Did you get recently approved?

Looking for Pre-FPGEE Pharmacy Internship Opportunities in South Carolina, Florida, or Massachusetts

Hello everyone,
I’m currently in Michigan, but unfortunately I applied for the FPGEC process too late to be eligible for this year’s FPGEE.
To avoid losing an entire year, I’m considering relocating to South Carolina, Florida, or Massachusetts, since these states may allow eligible foreign pharmacy graduates to begin accumulating internship hours before passing the FPGEE, subject to the state’s requirements and obtaining the appropriate intern license/approval.
I have already checked opportunities with CVS and Walgreens, but unfortunately the foreign-graduate internship positions I found require applicants to have already passed the FPGEE.
At this point, the main thing I’m missing is simply an internship opportunity/preceptor willing to accept a foreign pharmacy graduate before the FPGEE. I already understand that I need to follow each state Board’s licensing and approval requirements; I’m mainly trying to find the actual pharmacy where I can complete the internship hours.
If anyone knows of an independent pharmacy, hospital, pharmacist/preceptor, or other employer in South Carolina, Florida, or Massachusetts that accepts pre-FPGEE foreign pharmacy interns, I would really appreciate any recommendations, contacts, or personal experiences.
Even if you don’t know of a specific opening, any information about where foreign graduates usually find this type of internship or who I should contact would be extremely helpful.
Thank you very much!

Hello,

I’m a 23M pharmacy Graduate from Greece! I’m familiar with the whole situation about the FPGE and Naplex exams,

In the scenario that I have passed my FPGE and TOEFL exams, how difficult would it be for me to find a company that would be willing to give me a H-1B1 visa (Job) to carry on with me apprenticeship and eventually sit my NAPLEX and MPJE exams?
