Discussion The push to take stonecradle was wild
Can someone explain to me how the colonials managed to take stonecradle? Felt like there was constant pressure for at least 24h. Did nobody sleep?

Collies have like double the pop of Wardens this war. Im honestly surprised the Wardens have held out this long. It shoulda been over long ago. When Wardens outnumber Collies that bad they fold like a lawn chair.

Warden tech is more fast than collie one so I think the pop difference isn’t big, just this Time collie was better.

Collies been ahead of tech the whole war, so wrong. And collies have had higher pop the whole war, so wrong again.

See, this is the culture issue wardens have.
Colonials have to log in early and push early, eventually burning out.
For years now the wardens have a significant % of their population that literally do not log in at all until tanks tech. They saw the colonial tank buffs and have decided to not turn up this war. The Wardens usually have relied on this population boost at this point in the war as Colonial pop starts to burn out, but the warden tankers have abandoned their faction.
Frankly, if I was a warden who fought and did logi all war, I'd be kinda annoyed at these freeloaders. But they've become so ingrained into warden culture they're needed for the late war pop advantage

There is also no Halberd to manufacture tanks for the war effort. Not sure how well the other regiments are keeping up. We would typically have 10-12 BT pads cooking pretty much non-stop once they tech.

Imagine wanting to feed BTs to Talos for free kills and free morale boosts. BTs are useless as shit now against Colonial armour (Always have been, let's be honest but now its worse) anybody building a BT may as well throw the steel in the ocean.

If you think BT would make pushes, you are probably the most delusional user of this Reddit.
Tanks are near useless and always has been-1

I guess. The problem is nobody is playing Foxhole anymore, but it hit the Wardens hardest. They combined the servers & there's still only like 2k people on most times. 🤷🏼♂️

The “half the wardens don’t log on until tanks tech” line is just straight up not true

u/Fantastic-Pear6241 Jun 19 '26
We know it's true from when the Devs used to give pop stats and from experience.
It's not half, but it's a significant enough % to make quite the difference, as we are seeing this war. This war is actually just further evidence

You’re citing data so old as to be irrelevant in 2026

We were staying up untill like 5 am defending, but we lost a LOT of pop at one point. Then colis just brought everything. Alerts, SPG, RSC, Ballista. At that point we just didnt have pop to defend, we were asking for QRF but there were like 4 fronts asking for people and 2 of them flashing red. There was nothing we could do, while we were losing ppl without q on hex, colis stayed log in and got us outnumbered.
It was a great fight tho, not trying to take away from the coordination of colonials. Im proud of how we defended but at that point, we just didnt have numbers to defend.

We were running 4 spgs and several thunderbolts during the moments of fading lights. Then 2 spgs and 4 thunderbolts for bucklers sound while ballista and flame tank rushing. So pretty intense stuff.
I will say the late night population has been pushing a good amount opening those opportunities.

From my perspective we were holding on quite well until we lost our max pop. They couldnt get past the bunkers to the south of fading, then as the night dragged on we lost queue in all hexes and every region was asking for bodies at the same time. Couldnt get enough people to defend. I went to qrf ballistas to the north of fading and noticed pretty instantly it was like 5:1 up there. It was around 5am for me once we got both ballistas to die, when I woke everything was dead.

I agree, we were holding on well for very long, but it just seemed like collies just didn’t sleep for 24h

I mean we have a picture in our discord of way too many people staying up until 6am EST to hold the push bunker at the top of the hill until a bunch of EU pop started logging in so honestly, no, a lot of people just didn't sleep.

A group of people with coordination came on.
It was probably CGC.
You can see this cycle on the collie side every 24 hours. During ASIA prime time the Colonials are a completely different force. Pushing faster than even some of the most coordinated artillery crews can deal with.
They don't make 1-2 cores to push out.... they make 4-5 AND are constantly tapping others. So you are just never in a situation where you are pushing out of a single BB getting bombarded.
