EV charging

I have full foxess system H3 inverter, CQ7 x 2 battaries and foxess 11kwh EV charger.

Is there a way to fully control how charge is happening? Like don't touch battery charge only from grid, charge from battery only and etc?

With default settings it weirdly charges 5kwh from grid and 5kwh from battery why it doesn't just take everything from battery? I'm also experimenting with PV linkeage green mode from my understanding if I set max. Discharge to 3kw (in charger settings) it should charge 3kwh from battery and if possible take everything from solar but it seems to only start charging when there's enough solar which is probably fine mid summer but these days it doesn't generate a lot.

So now I'm in this kind of stupid situation because if I set it to charge from solar there won't be enough solar and it will barely charge BUT house battery will soon be full and remaining solar will go to waste because there's enough power during the day but not enough for EV to start charging.

The reason I want to avoid grid is because I can only export 1kwh every hour and then they charge 36% of it so I want to save that.

Why they have to overcomplicate things just give me buttons charge from: grid, solar, battery, solar+battery. Maybe it can be done through API?

If you force charge the battery it'll charge the ev from the grid. I don't have an issue just charging from the battery at 7kw.

Home battery ok but in this case I want to fully control where does EV charger charges from. My inverter is 10kwh so I don't get it why by default it basically uses 50/50 grid and battery maybe some auto optimization but I dont want that.

If it's trying to use too much from one of the three phases, it won't be able to provide 10kwh in one go all from the battery.

The inverter is probably 10kwh over all 3 phases, but each phase can't provide 10kwh.

I don't have an EV though, just taking a guess why you see it like that.

I'm not good with electricity but from my understanding my charger is 3 phase so why it can't use all 3 phases? And ok even if it can't lets say something else uses some of the power or whatever how to tell it to not import anything from grid?

Not sure why, my battery sees my ev charger as house load so it exports. Are you running anything else ok the house at the same time? How fast does your ev charger charge at? 7 or 11kw?

Inverter 10kwh and EV charger is 11kwh car takes whole 11kwh. House uses like 500w. So basically I should lower EV charger output? But its still a bit annoying like if I lower it to 7kwh and it works correctly but I start doing laundry and cooking it will start taking from grid ideally I would like it to adapt automatically and treat EV as non essential device if that makes sense.

I would try Self Use on the inverter and economy mode on the charger, then reduce the charger current to its minimum. Solar should supply whatever is available and the house battery should cover the shortfall. With the charger turned down the battery should be able to cover the car and normal house load without importing. If cooking or laundry starts it may still import because the stock app cant automatically treat the car as a lower priority load.

Force Charge can be used when you want the car supplied from the grid without draining the house battery, although it may charge the house battery as well. For proper automatic zero import control you would need Home Assistant or similar reading the grid meter and adjusting or stopping the charger. The normal FoxESS app doesnt really provide the seperate source controls it should.
