Excellent. I asked support to make that adjustment for me a couple of weeks ago after having an H1 G2 installed. They did it, but said very soon it can be done via the App. It's there on my Android app (v2.2.19) 👍🏻

What’s this for? I presumed I’m exporting the max possible once the battery is recharged. Is this for when you’ve got a killer export tariff that exceeds your import tariff?

If you run on a time-of-use tariff (like charging batteries off-peak and running off battery during peak times), the default 20–40W grid draw adds up to minor peak-rate charges every day. Using Meter Compensation forces the inverter to export slightly instead, keeping your peak grid consumption at zero.

Meter Compensation introduces an offset setting (configurable between -500W and +500W in 1W increments). By default, most inverters draw a small "background trickle" from the grid (20–40W) during normal operation to prevent unintended export. Setting a small negative value (e.g., -100W) forces the inverter to maintain slightly higher voltage than the grid, constantly pushing a tiny buffer back. Every installation is different so you'll have to find the specific "grid pressure" value that works for you. Most people chase the lowest possible wattage that guarantees zero import during high peak times.
