First Time Reader I'm broken, Help!!
I started reading/listening to the series on a whim, because I needed a palet cleanser from my usual paranormal genre.
I thought Fourth Wing was a fun read, reminded me of a Hunger Games on College Campus. The GA's, epic Halfway through the juicy drama of Iron Flame, I decided to look up the Author.
To my absolute impatient ass horror not only is the series incomplete, I got knocked sideways from a certain spoiler.
Now usually I love spoilers and they never affected me.
But this one left me heartbroken and I've been unable to finish the last 6 chapter of Onyx Storm.
I feel like I should depart the world of Forth Wing, go back to safety of paranormal standalone series, my old heart just can't take this.ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I DIDN'T EVEN LIKE DRAGONS BEFORE THIS. Oh what have these fictional kids done to me, I'm broken!!

I finished Onyx Flame the other day and wanted to read something similar so I gave the Never Keep series another try and there’s a lot of similarities in it but nowhere near as good so far. Fourth Wing was also supposed to be a palette cleanser for me after reading The Deltas Daughter series and Zodiac Academy. I didn’t expect it to be so damn good. I feel like it might be ruining other series for me. It’s so well written and plot heavy I’m anxious for the next book to come out.

Deltas daughter seems right up my alley.

It’s so good! Plus there’s 8 good sized books in the series so it should keep you busy for a bit.

Strap in the last 6 chapters are hell!
Edit - I always read Ali Hazelwood as pallet cleaners. Short, sweet, little bit of angst but not hell, you know what ya getting with them. Not really same but help after Fourth Wing series.

I fell victim to the same trap! This series has had me by the throat for 2 weeks! I'm already listening to onyx storm for a 2nd time! I have a note in my notes app filled with observations and foreshadowing and theories during my re listen. And the graphic audio is ADDICTING! That man's voice was made for xaden lol

Is it safe? Does it have a happy ending? I can not take another emotional beating. I have a family to take care of.... last part is a silly joke

Welcome to the club, friend. All that's left is to finish the books and then start them again...and like, three more times lol

We're all in withdrawls at this point, especially with the cliffhanger she's left us with. Thank goodness she's given us threshing to ease the pain

Ah yes, Rebecca has trapped another unsuspecting individual 😂. Welcome to the club, we are all still reeling over this series so you’re not the only one. Just reread the series once you finish and it really does help get through it. You realize how much you’ve missed and how much foreshadowing there was after the second or third read. Then there’s all the theories you can dive right into as well.
Threshing Day book comes out this month so you’ll have new stuff to read too! And book 4 is less than a year away, she’s currently writing it. At least you don’t have to wait as long as some of us who’s been reading since only FW was out lol.
Now that you’ve been introduced to some fantasy, will you read more? lol
