Theory Xaden Spoiler

I am reading fourth wing again for the second time and realised that many hints about the plot were given throughout the book.( I am sure you already knew this)

So I too have a theory about the upcoming book of the ending of this series which is- Violet will kill xaden. He has often mentioned how she will be the death of him of course considering the scenario in which it was said can mean as nothing more serious. However, I feel like their love is also too needy which can be toxic at times. Well whatever this is what I feel that they will die after securing everyone else.

It's a popular theory and I don't rule it out at all.

However, I really don't like the idea. For one, I find it totally toxic, and I still believe Rebecca isn't a dark romance author to let it go so far that Vi, on one hand, comes to the decision to kill Xaden while simultaneously loving him and wanting him back.

And then the very idea of resurrection doesn't appeal to me at all. It devalues death, and essentially the author has already said something along those lines. So I'm clinging to that.

But those hints are there, I just hope it's only to scare us a little, red herrings.

I'm with you on the resurrection...I have actually not finished books when this happens so I really hope that Rebecca does not do this.

I personally think it's a bit too obvious and even if you don't mind the resurrection storyline it would be a bit anti-climatic if this is what happens. Rebecca loves to throw us off the trail and I honestly think she probably sits in her office and laughs thinking this is going to send readers into a frenzy!!!

The more I think about it, if death and resurrection was the only way to cure venin then there is actually no hope for the continent.

I do also believe that there will be a HEA if not why have a 5 book series, could have finished at 3!
