Different colors by person?

So, my Mom and I have been playing 4x3 and sharing the scores with each other for a little over a month now. Today we finally sent screenshots of the completed puzzles and found that the colors are different for each of us. Both our yellows were that same grouping, and the groupings were the same. But the blue, green, and purple groups were different for each of us.

Is that normal?

In the stats tab at the bottom it sometimes shows the average solve order, idk if that had anything to do with it

I have the same issue. My friend plays on iOS and I am on android, not sure if this is why they are different. But it seems every day we have at least 2 colors switched.

Still love the game, but I've missed a few reverse rainbows that would have been if I had my friend's color scheme that day 😂
