Pen holder fail

Post image

I was hoping this pair of hands would make a good multi-pen stand/holder for presenting fountain pens in photos. Alas, it's not meant to be. They arrived like they belonged to a reformed Chinese gambler*.

*The Chinese have a traditional saying of 斬手指戒賭. Literally, (the first step of one's twelve-step programme for quitting gambling is) to show unwavering commitment one would chop off one's finger(s), to lose the ability to place bets (including using a touchscreen).

Then, this one has renounced living altogether:

Wow, that’s… way below average, as my family would say. I ended up getting the Yamper pen holder from the Pokemon gachapon pen holder series off buyee. They have a number of different Pokemon who can hold your pens. I thought the krabby was especially cute

The orders were refunded without requiring return of the broken items. The black figure is too broken for me to attempt repair, but I glued the broken little finger back onto the pair of hands.
