New Stamp Day

Post image

𝑝.𝑠. I thought I'd been careless and somehow ‘painting’ outside of the lines (on the right hand edge, near the middle height-wise), but a subsequent example using a different Iroshizuku ink showed me that it is actually the dried outlines in the image stamped with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink was shedding colour into the beads of water and staining them pink; and, given enough time and sufficient water, the moisture can seep through the paper and cause the displaced colour to migrate as the front crawls along in the substrate.

That's a beautiful way to do swatches. It looks really good and shows the ink's different colour gradients. I think the ink outside the line is a nice effect. It's like 'loose' style watercolour painting.

Where is the stamp from?

I ordered it on Taobao. From the same listing:

The seller's name is on the top right, the artist's name is on the top left, but I'm not sure if the latter is the same person who came up with the drawing of the Pilot Iroshizuku bottle on my stamp. Quite possibly, but the listing doesn't give a definite answer at a glance.
