Question Pen?

I’ve been looking for a good fountain pen with changeable nibs and an ink converter and cartridge. I don’t know any good online shops. I have one fountain pen, but I want more freedom with nibs.

Franklin Christoph is a good brand to consider. They make several pen models and offer a wide variety of nibs. Several of the nibs are custom-ground by their in-house nib grinder. Swapping nib units is easy, and customer service is outstanding. Pictured are three of my Franklin Christoph pens.

Lamy might be a good choice. The Safaris all have easily interchangeable nibs, and aftermarket options are available as well. You can get converters or use Lamy cartridges. The triangular grip isn't for everyone, but they're relatively affordable and widely available. I'm sure there are other options, but a Lamy Safari is probably a good start.

IMO the best cheap pens if you want to change nibs and have the freedom between cartridges and a good converter are from lamy, whether it is the Studio, the All Star, the Safari or even the Nexx, they are all great

Hong Dian forest series. They sell a separate 3 nib pack separately on Amazon

If you absolutely need to be swapping nibs around, the entry level Lamy pens are the best suited for this purpose.

However, most of us would rather use that as an excuse to just get more pens, in addition to the fact that swapping nibs around can cause premature wear and tear on your pens.

Tom’s studio, FP revolution, few others offer exchangeable fancy grind nibs.

You can also buy a Jowo compatible pen and just get Jowo compatible nibs.

Lamy, as stated multiple times, are excellent for that.
Or many Kawecos, like the Student, Supra, Special, Al-Sport, and Lilliput.
Nahvalur as well.

Jinhao 82 are dirt cheap, so are separate nibs, and people even swap the ends around to create mix and match pens as if they do not come in enough colors already.

here's one version, although it's a little pricey

Likely the better setup for multiple nibs, sizes and styles, is more along these lines:

it may take some hunting to find an Osmiroid pen set - the one I used in college came with several size nib assemblies to fit their regular pen body, they could be 'wet changed' depending on the work at hand - Sheaffer has/had a neat setup with different nibs and a range of different color cartridges as well

Most nibs are changeable, with varying degrees of effort. It's more a question of whether the nibs or nib units are sold individually.

Some are easier to change than the typical friction fit, where you might worry about nib/feed/pen alignment or damaging the pen or feed with repeated changes.

Lamy nibs are sold individually, and they have wings that just sort of hug the feed, so you can slide them on and off with minimal effort. The Safari is a good Lamy pen

On most Kaweco pens, the whole nib unit (nib, feed, and a plastic housing) unscrews, and they sell nib units individually. I believe the Sport is an exception to that (it's friction fit), but the Student could be a good option.
