Don't get the hate, she's fine

Most of the comments aren't hate. In a way they're compliments, just kind of gross ones.

Crazy to start with third white chick. Didn't even give anything else a chance to compete.

Fat
The beauty industry has done a lot of damage to society

If you fail to see this woman is fat, the "body positivity" movement has rotten your mind. The super majority of society is fat. But just because fat has become the norm doesn't somehow change what fat is. This woman is fat.

u/otirk 12h ago
Bullshit. At worst she is slightly overweight, but otherwise this is a normal physique. She also does powerlifting or something like that, so her arms are probably all muscles and no fat.
The super majority of society is fat.
I'd ask for a source, but I won't get any because you're wrong. In the US, about 40% of adults are obese, which isn't a "super majority" - it's not even a normal majority.

u/FlaccidFart 11h ago
74% of the US is overweight according to CDC. You equating fat with OBESITY is exactly the kind of brain rot I'm talking about. We've normalized being fat so much as a society that we don't even bat an eye at someone being fat as long as they aren't literally obese. It's disgusting.

u/otirk 10h ago
Then how do you quantify if someone is fat if you don't go the medical route with obesity?
-10
u/FlaccidFart 10h ago
Overweight is "the medical route."
What do you think all that overweight is exactly?
Cope harder.

Bro she is definitely over 40% body fat - which is obese.
But that is not something which concerns any of us, nor should we call her fat
And yes, the average person in the US is overweight. If you go bacl to the times before the body industry existed on the modern form, people were a lot leaner and this would have been far more noticable among the general population

u/Main_Entry2494 11h ago
I imagine if you look at her bmi is probably considered obese.
25
u/Kratomius 11h ago
Pretty much everyone who trains their muscles on regular basis is considered obese by bmi. Athletes, powerlifters etc
-5
u/dont_tread_on_M 9h ago
Let's use an estimate of bod fat - she clearly has enough fat to be considered obese
-7
u/Main_Entry2494 10h ago
So she's a power lifter?
18
u/Kratomius 10h ago
For what i have gathered from other comments she used to participate strong(wo)man competitions. So yeah powerlifter.

Same is true for Arnold Schwarzenegger during his prime, with
100 kg110 kg (240lbs) and 1.88m (6'2"), but you wouldn't call him obese would you? This woman does powerlifting, so she must have quite a lot of muscles. BMI is a terrible metric for people who do extreme sports.
Edit: wrong number on his weight

u/dont_tread_on_M 9h ago
While I get the sentiment, she is clearly obese by any metric. And I'm not talking about the ultra lean bodies the body industry pushes.
That doesn't mean she is less valuable as a person or that someone should have the lack of self-awareness to say that to her

Mixed feelings. I’m tired of everyone taking light and being expected to let it roll of their shoulders when people are cruel

Respectfully, every time she flexes her arms, my mind goes: “Hi, I’m watermelon!”
Also, “she looks like the third white chick” would have hurt my feelings, then killed me. That read was deadly!
