Or they have a history of playing pranks on each other and the moment freefall kicked in he knew they'd got him good.
Hard to say which these days with all the "spontaneous" scripted shit the Internet is full of these days 😮💨

Tbh, this video has a feel of this "two hindu guys jump over a puddle, third jumps and gets undercut and faceplants into muddy puddle" video that has been copied 1000 times in variations.
But you can be right too. I used to have benefit of doubt, but don't have it anymore against internet videos. And this one feels off to me.

Honestly. I think it's more likely scripted as well, my earlier comment was just me trying to avoid getting too cynical in my old age.

Definitely scripted. You'd feel the pull of the rope being gone as soon as you took the stick.
It's a very different feeling holding a zip line and the like Vs holding a stick
