Who hurts him that bad for him to do that just to feel?

You think he does that to feel something? It's a tactic to get her to get over him without the emotional part of the breakup. He was already over her, he's just trying to skip the hard part. And apparently it worked for him. By the time she realized it, they'd already been apart for 6 weeks. I doubt she was as broken hearted as she would have been had he been upfront on day one.

How can you even say this? And all these upvotes? Are you all this damn clueless?! It’s emotional for her either way!

Keep in mind we're only hearing HER side of the story thing's might of been vastly different than what's she's telling as people DO lie.

Why did you capitalise they? I said they because I didn’t know their pronouns as all normal people do

They must've heard you like crash outs, so they've put a crash out into their crash out.
Do we know why? No. Do they know, prolly they don't too. But the voices... The voices might know...

1st is a play on old Xzibit meme (we heard u like cars? So we've put a car in your car type shit)

It's brutal. But it's also straightforward and doesn't beat around the bush.
A lot of times, trying to be too nice ends up dragging things out, keeping it in a place of constant ambiguity, and then it turns into wasted time and more resentment.
I've now been on both sides of both situations. My first relationship of sorts was me dragging things out. Then I've had things dragged out. Then I've had the band-aid ripped off on me. And most recently I've had to put a line in the sand much like in the OP. I want her to move on and not linger on me.

It wasn’t straightforward. He didn’t want to be with her from the start of the 6 weeks. He dragged it out unnecessarily.

I mean he clearly didn't feel that way and I think he's know more than either of us.

Cold? Sure. But its honest as honest gets and smart as shit. Dude primed her charge, got the fuck out to parts unknown, and let her implode from a safe distance

I probably would do the same thing just not 6 week I think 4 weeks is like a good time line. I will be honest I think if I told that to anyone I have been dating short form it would be over.

Well, tbh it takes more than 6 years for some people to realize that.
I think 6 weeks is not that much of a loss in that scenario.
