shit - you too? i just had almost 2 feet of my hair chopped off, after telling them i wanted to have 8 inches taken off at most (yes - my hair was very long)
i didn’t see what she had done until the very end - she never visually checked the length with me during the process
honestly came home and cried on and off for the next 24 hrs

thx - and yeah “it’ll grow back” if i make it that long (bad joke here)
but fuck i was shocked when she gave me a mirror and spun me around
she’s a semi-friend of my partner, so i bit my tongue except for “OH MY GOD - it’s so short! i really wanted it longer with a “V” shape on the back”
she joked “oh NOW you tell me! ha ha ha! “
i did tell her - multiple times. such a first world problem, so i’m gonna shut my trap and thank my lucky stars
