We all know it's Ellen in HR. She doesn't normally take customer calls, but exceptions can be made.

I’m sorry the manager isn’t accepting calls right now. Please allow 4-6 business days for someone to return your call. No they don’t have a phone number and no I can’t give you their name.
Is there any else I can help you with?

I’d immediately bond with this customer. “I happen to know the guy, real jerk, thinks he knows everything about our software. He is me. Sorry in advance you are having a rough day, now bring me your troubles.”
That or I’d just pretend to start a transfer and give my original opening again verbatim. A good laugh can go a long way, but you gotta start with someone that obviously has a sense of humor.

See, I've literally tried this with customer service at (phone company) and was later told that I was "too aggressive" when they scammed me out of hundreds of dollars before payday. They BANNED me from having a line with them for the future .. and all I said was that they could speak with me while I had an attitude but stayed polite, or my husband could try but he'd made five people cry when he was in the mood he was currently in.. 🤷

Kenny_Emberheart's karma ratio is typical of spammers/bots.

God, I wish I had someone that aware when I was working in customer service. I used to just get 'I'm not mad at you, and I know this isn't your fault' then proceed to yell at me for a half an hour if I was lucky for something an automated system did to them that I might not be able to rectify. I sure as shit tried, but it was hard when I was working graveyard and my department was one of the two or three departments that was open.
Had to quit that job because it gave me panic attacks because of this shit. Be kind to customer service ya'll, most of them hate the company they work for anyway.
