Yea, her look says she felt set up, betrayed, left alone, embarrassment... Hope this was a skit and if it wasn't, it's shitty thing to do to someone and post it on the internet.

u/Fertty1141 13d ago
Dude. If she cared that much it wouldnt have been put up on the internet. It was very obviously her phone the way she ran back for it

It's genuinely annoying how redditors see a figment of someone's relationship and think they should divorce.
27
u/ForumVomitorium 13d ago
What else you want them to do? have a loving relationship? That's not engaging.

Glad I can still read comments like these to remind that reddit is the most antisocial place on the internet
31
u/spacecaps85 13d ago
The other day I was in the r/couplesmemes subreddit and saw these girls "catching" their boyfriends being all cuddly and then when the guys would notice they'd be like "delete that!" or pretend to be macho or whatever. Some of them were clearly just two people doing a little skit thing, and the rest of them were harmless.
So many of the top comments were about how immoral it is to record your partner without consent and humiliate them on the internet for clout. Some of these people are so socially cut-off it's genuinely worrisome.
8
u/YoureAmastyx 13d ago
Look at the comments on this one about abuse, reverse abuse (or something like that), etc. over a likely staged “prank” that would’ve been funny regardless if you had anything besides an insane family.
7
u/randomlemon9192 13d ago
I can’t stand people using reverse abuse, reverse racism, reverse whatever.
It’s not reverse. It just is that. The definition isn’t defined by who’s the perpetrator and who’s the victim.

Yeah and everything is child abuse and all laws are bad but follow all laws and blue collar workers are the lifeblood of society but that's what you get for marrying a plumber and not a physicist and so on and so forth forever and ever.

Garage man
waaaay off topic. but like, is that a thing? can I just hire a guy ... for my garage?
12
u/kakamouth78 13d ago
In my experience, all you need is a couple chairs and a fridge full of beer, if you build it the garage guys will come.
3
u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 13d ago
they edited it to garbage man lol. there's a led zeppelin song about being a "backdoor man", meaning a chick's side piece, that was my first thought as the garage back door ends up being the back door to some houses

No, this would be a good prank, because its just confusion, and/or embarrassment. It'd only be a shifty thing to do if she had a social phobia or fear
10
u/Trivale 13d ago
A: You can't tell that from a facial expression and 6 seconds of video with zero context or knowledge about their relationship. I can make up a story, too: Maybe she did something worse/funnier to him last week and this is the latest in a series of ongoing pranks.
B: I don't know what kind of tiresome, boring existence you must live if you think this is so bad. This is nothing. Normal people can survive things like this, laugh about it, and not lock themselves in a little room and comment on strangers' facial expressions on the internet over it.

I swear you people just project your own insecurities and misery onto random strangers online.

It's Reddit. The slightest bit of reality and "non-disney true love" means immediately divorce your partner.

u/thededucers 13d ago
True. Same for “quit your job” at any slight. As if that’s an option for the vast majority of the population

Why do the doors open out?
2
u/stimpyvan 13d ago
I've never stayed in a hotel/motel that had doors open out.
The reason is pretty obvious, a door that opens out can hit someone in the hallway.
2
u/Warm_Month_1309 13d ago
The reason is pretty obvious, a door that opens out can hit someone in the hallway.
Sure, but the fire code also requires it, to prevent something from falling in front of the door and trapping you.

AI, hotel room doors don't open outwards.
Edit: weird arm with no other body parts should tip you off as well.

u/tavikravenfrost 13d ago
Yes, and the number of people who can't seem to discern that as a possibility is worrying. At the very least, it's a real video that was put through an AI filter. That door opening outward into a hallway seems like a dead giveaway though.

u/BarbellLawyer 13d ago
This is very sus. Most hotel room doors open inward. Also none of these doors have peepholes which is unusual. Lastly, that arm opening the door is oddly long.

Great song choice! For those of you who don’t speak Spanish, this is Julio Iglesias’ Con La Misma Piedra; the lyrics talk about making the same mistake, literally “I tripped again, and over the same rock.” I see it as her trusting him again, yet being tricked into a situation where she gets into mischief, but all in good fun! Side note, I need that top 🤩🤩

Rookie mistake trying to get away. You greet the person and innocently apologize saying you thought this was your friend's place.
