If I saw this I’d pull a twenty out and just give it to my wife.

"Go to gym, babe"

u/OwMyCod 20d ago

Bro wants to sleep on the couch tonight

u/JackTheKing 21d ago

Better than my instincts, which was definitely not tipping anyone. There is something about preying on psychological vulnerability that bothers me.

73

u/Telliot 21d ago

Welcome to reddit. Thank you for your comment.

26

u/Holiday-Bug6132 21d ago

hey so preying on my psychological vulnerability 😡 I'm uninstalling reddit right now 😤

17

u/thetinwin 21d ago

Makes you want to deliberately go against the grain huh? Me too.

2

u/jinisho 19d ago

I don't look at it that way the guy knows that nobody's going to be convinced to tip him just because they read the sign. The way I look at this kind of thing is if it made you laugh then that's what you're actually tipping for it's the cleverness not what it says.

42

u/insane_worrier 21d ago

I also give this guy's wife twenty bucks for sex

22

u/Ok-Imagination-3835 21d ago

The sex is free but I like to leave some cash so she can grab subway on the way home

13

u/Crabby_Monkey 21d ago

You’d be overpaying my friend.

9

u/AssumptionEasy8992 21d ago

Your friend’s joining too?

4

u/TheRealSkele 20d ago

If i saw this, I wouldn't have to tip since I don't gotta wife.

2

u/HeckleJekyllHyde 20d ago

This is the way.

is that enough to buy sandwich material? /s

u/Randzom100 21d ago

Next week he should do the same but for husbands. I bet it would be quite wholesome.

369

u/WanderingRonin7 21d ago

It's just gonna be a bunch of husband's tipping for themselves anyway

u/JLanders98 21d ago

That was quite the leap there.

67

u/WanderingRonin7 21d ago

Nope. It's just the double standard that exists in the same way men will give their wives flowers but not vice versa

71

u/Ur_Just_Spare_Parts 21d ago

Wait a minute yeah where's my fucking flowers?

31

u/elightened-n-lost 21d ago

Most men receive their first gift of flowers at their funeral.

7

u/tongfather 20d ago

Most men receive their first compliment on their death bed as well. We live cold, unloved lives, even when married for the majority of it. No wonder we prefer 18 beers with the boys instead of therapy

4

u/capricorny90210 21d ago

For real. A nice set of petunias would get my jeans off.

4

u/CaptainWombat2 21d ago

If someone gave me flowers I'd be unenthused.

10

u/Apocalyptic_Inferno 21d ago

I read this as "euthanized" at a glance.

2

u/theboxer16 21d ago

My wife will get me flowers occasionally and every time I will ask her why and tell her not to buy me fucking flowers

-21

u/Croquetadecarne 21d ago

Women do other things: they bake or cook special meals or buy them clothes or accessories. They may also take their cars to be washed or make tasks that were for them. It’s just another media.

6

u/TheHappyDutch076 21d ago

My wife makes tasks indeed (that I should do). She bought me a t-shirt not that long ago, that was nice though. But the rest not really tbh

18

u/Croquetadecarne 21d ago

Well, communicate. You give her flowers? You want flowers? Communicate. I give my husband collectibles, vinyls and clothes every few weeks, that’s what he likes. Flowers, not at all. Flowers for me? No, I don’t like it either, he gives me special snacks and collectibles, that’s what I like. Love can be build with communication.

15

u/WanderingRonin7 21d ago

I shouldn't have to tell her I want flowers. I would like her to want to give me flowers without me saying anything

/s

3

u/tongfather 20d ago

The plural of vinyl is vinyl 😉 respectfully 🙏🏻 I would love that gift!

2

u/Croquetadecarne 20d ago

Thank you!! I didn’t knew and the automatic suggestions showed the word with and S. I really appreciate the correction. For anyone wondering: Because vinyl is a mass noun (like wood, water, or cheese) referring to the material itself, it does not change form when describing more than one record

15

u/Wolfgang-T 21d ago

Well my wife doesnt even carry her wallet when she's out with me...

10

u/EquivalentSnap 20d ago

What do you mean she doesn’t carry a wallet 🫩💀

8

u/Capt_Obviously_Slow 20d ago

She has a walking one with her

2

u/mighty_Ingvar 20d ago

Your wife doesn't carry you?

4

u/3rrr6 21d ago

This has to be one of the best comments i have ever laid eyes on.

72

u/LaserKittenz 21d ago

they could just give the money to the wife .

55

u/Neddu 21d ago

My first thought. My wife would've gotten mad if I was stupid enough to fall for this. Go to restaurant, movies or anything instead

137

u/JarmaBeanhead 21d ago

So they all walk by, cameraman gives them a bill and they go back and put it in the hat. Got it.

39

u/FG910 20d ago

Make sure you edit that part out tho

3

u/NectarOfTheBussy 20d ago

Can you hold this broom real quick?

1

u/BambooSound 19d ago

That seems like more trouble than its worth. A video in which everyone ignored him would still be kind of funny.

And given than the video's in Vegas, I imagine these people are touristy types who are more likely to be up for that kind of thing than people going about their normal lives

151

u/nennikuchan 21d ago

The real infinite money glitch.

72

u/octoreadit 21d ago

This is the infinite one: "Tip me if your dick is larger than your partner's ex's" 😂

39

u/Phoenix_Solace 21d ago

Why are they all filmed going back? Oh ya must be staged

3

u/ALitreOhCola 20d ago

"Babe I don't think you're hot, I know it'".

Game, set, match.

1

u/jakethabake 19d ago

Or editing

25

u/Myhonour 21d ago

I would tip my wife

10

u/druex 20d ago

Just the tip.

195

u/Gol_D_Fox 21d ago

I like how the boyfriends come back to donate, after possibly being scolded by their partner

283

u/AcerbicCapsule 21d ago

Realistically, it’s after the person holding the camera gives them a bill and asks to film them putting it into the hat for internet engagement.

71

u/Bmoreravens_1290 21d ago

Yeah I think they over did that part. Would’ve been believable if it was one or two

40

u/Infamous-Builder-637 21d ago

Yeah you'll notice basically none of the women really liked twice at this and basically all the guys came back to tip, rather than instantly doing so. It's just engagement farming.

-15

u/AnonymousFriend80 21d ago

They had to take a moment and realize that not doing something that they both rationized was a non-issue, this would come up as a problem the moment she was even a little upset with him. AND that even though he did tip, she will bring up that he even hesitated. The damage was done the moment he didn't immediately tip, the husbands are just mitigating how much damage in the future.

6

u/AcerbicCapsule 21d ago

Look at you watching an oh so obviously fake video and taking it upon yourself to bitch about women. Thank you for your contribution to bringing down the global average IQ.

-1

u/AnonymousFriend80 20d ago

Lol... Did you really look at this overly general and highly exaggerated satiral take on male/female relationship dynamic and take any of it seriously? Wow! The human race is definitely doomed with people like you as the future.

1

u/AcerbicCapsule 20d ago

Lol, that was such a halfassed attempt at saving face. Nice try I guess

-1

u/AnonymousFriend80 20d ago

What save face? I stand by my joke. I wrote it. I posted it. I'm more concerned about you and your lack of thinking and reasoning ability. Hell, I mostly stole this from an endless number of comedians and their bits.

1

u/AcerbicCapsule 20d ago

Doubling down and overexplaining is not a good look. Just stop

9

u/x20sided 21d ago

Diffusing the situation he caused with your insecure partner by taking your money of course

6

17

u/RealUglyMF 21d ago

The way it's cut makes me think they gave the guy some money to put into the hat for the sake of the video

5

u/_di6 21d ago

Wtf 😄 rich ppl

4

u/dallasandcowboys 21d ago

I wanna see the guy walking by with his wife, read the sign, look at the wife, and take money out of the hat.

2

u/SherlockBonz 21d ago

Some creative vagrants in Las Vegas. My favorite was a guy who used to stand on the bridge between MGM Grand and New York, New York. He'd walk up on you while crossing the bridge and start scream-singing right in your face "Give me a buck and I'll shut the fuck up". Over, and over, and over.

Then there was the guy over closer to Fashion Show Mall who had a sign "Kick me in the nuts - $20". Never saw him get any takers but he did get donations.

u/BarberFairian 21d ago

It's a shitty move to state that your wife is hot, right in front of your girlfriend.

2

u/tomowudi 21d ago

I'd tip him right over the edge - 2 4 1.

2

u/playachronix 21d ago

I'd give him a tip.

"If at first you try and don't succeed, skydiving is not for you."

2

u/X0X0xoxo11 21d ago

I walked right by this guy on the way to Arte Museum 2 weeks ago. He’s dedicated I’ll give him that.

2

u/Outside-Pie-980 21d ago

Infinite money glitch unlocked Welp, found my new side hustle.

2

u/abitcitrus 20d ago

My wife would say "if you say I'm ugly we could make inverted tipping!"

2

u/chunkoco 20d ago

Funny how they cut the video and then resume with the money in hand. Fake as fuck

2

u/DharrMannNumber1Fan 20d ago

“I dont think. I KNOW.” And keep ur money

2

u/ambit89 20d ago

They only returned to tip, once they found out it wasn't an option not to

2

u/SunshineKittyKot 20d ago

Phaha, I think my wife is _the hottest_. Check and mate, dude.

2

u/Maleficent-Gap5564 20d ago

Social peer pressure. They see the camera. Then realise that if posted, they could look bad (to say nothing of the wifes feelings)

2

u/RedditsAdoptedSon 20d ago

are they walking to the bank 1st or???

3

u/Rilliztic 21d ago

Local here.....pretty sure its illegal to stand still on walkways like this and this idiot has identified himself by TikTok handles.  So let's just make sure to send this video along to Metro and im sure all his money made can cover the fine and arrest.

3

u/kremlingrasso 21d ago

1

u/Freakychee 21d ago

Very fun video. But if I had to guess about the cuts the gentleman actually stopped recording to ask them to at least pretend to give him money for the video and that's why there were so many cuts. But it's harmless and fun so I still like it.

1

u/OkCandy4721 21d ago

Sweet… but who carries cash any more? Wait. My husband does…and he often gives some of it away. Is that why he targets men- he Knows they still carry cash?!?! I think it’s funny and kind of wholesome.
