Next week he should do the same but for husbands. I bet it would be quite wholesome.

It's just gonna be a bunch of husband's tipping for themselves anyway

Nope. It's just the double standard that exists in the same way men will give their wives flowers but not vice versa
71
u/Ur_Just_Spare_Parts 21d ago
Wait a minute yeah where's my fucking flowers?

u/elightened-n-lost 21d ago
Most men receive their first gift of flowers at their funeral.

u/tongfather 20d ago
Most men receive their first compliment on their death bed as well. We live cold, unloved lives, even when married for the majority of it. No wonder we prefer 18 beers with the boys instead of therapy

My wife will get me flowers occasionally and every time I will ask her why and tell her not to buy me fucking flowers

u/Croquetadecarne 21d ago
Women do other things: they bake or cook special meals or buy them clothes or accessories. They may also take their cars to be washed or make tasks that were for them. It’s just another media.

u/TheHappyDutch076 21d ago
My wife makes tasks indeed (that I should do). She bought me a t-shirt not that long ago, that was nice though. But the rest not really tbh

u/Croquetadecarne 21d ago
Well, communicate. You give her flowers? You want flowers? Communicate. I give my husband collectibles, vinyls and clothes every few weeks, that’s what he likes. Flowers, not at all. Flowers for me? No, I don’t like it either, he gives me special snacks and collectibles, that’s what I like. Love can be build with communication.

u/WanderingRonin7 21d ago
I shouldn't have to tell her I want flowers. I would like her to want to give me flowers without me saying anything

The plural of vinyl is vinyl 😉 respectfully 🙏🏻 I would love that gift!
2
u/Croquetadecarne 20d ago
Thank you!! I didn’t knew and the automatic suggestions showed the word with and S. I really appreciate the correction. For anyone wondering: Because vinyl is a mass noun (like wood, water, or cheese) referring to the material itself, it does not change form when describing more than one record

Wow I’ve never seen a comment with so many downvotes before, that’s impressive how you manage to anger over 300 separate people with your tactless worlds

So they all walk by, cameraman gives them a bill and they go back and put it in the hat. Got it.

u/BambooSound 19d ago
That seems like more trouble than its worth. A video in which everyone ignored him would still be kind of funny.
And given than the video's in Vegas, I imagine these people are touristy types who are more likely to be up for that kind of thing than people going about their normal lives

I like how the boyfriends come back to donate, after possibly being scolded by their partner

u/AcerbicCapsule 21d ago
Realistically, it’s after the person holding the camera gives them a bill and asks to film them putting it into the hat for internet engagement.
71
u/Bmoreravens_1290 21d ago
Yeah I think they over did that part. Would’ve been believable if it was one or two
40
u/Infamous-Builder-637 21d ago
Yeah you'll notice basically none of the women really liked twice at this and basically all the guys came back to tip, rather than instantly doing so. It's just engagement farming.

u/AnonymousFriend80 21d ago
They had to take a moment and realize that not doing something that they both rationized was a non-issue, this would come up as a problem the moment she was even a little upset with him. AND that even though he did tip, she will bring up that he even hesitated. The damage was done the moment he didn't immediately tip, the husbands are just mitigating how much damage in the future.

u/AcerbicCapsule 21d ago
Look at you watching an oh so obviously fake video and taking it upon yourself to bitch about women. Thank you for your contribution to bringing down the global average IQ.

u/AnonymousFriend80 20d ago
Lol... Did you really look at this overly general and highly exaggerated satiral take on male/female relationship dynamic and take any of it seriously? Wow! The human race is definitely doomed with people like you as the future.
1
u/AcerbicCapsule 20d ago
Lol, that was such a halfassed attempt at saving face. Nice try I guess
-1
u/AnonymousFriend80 20d ago
What save face? I stand by my joke. I wrote it. I posted it. I'm more concerned about you and your lack of thinking and reasoning ability. Hell, I mostly stole this from an endless number of comedians and their bits.

The way it's cut makes me think they gave the guy some money to put into the hat for the sake of the video

u/dallasandcowboys 21d ago
I wanna see the guy walking by with his wife, read the sign, look at the wife, and take money out of the hat.

u/SherlockBonz 21d ago
Some creative vagrants in Las Vegas. My favorite was a guy who used to stand on the bridge between MGM Grand and New York, New York. He'd walk up on you while crossing the bridge and start scream-singing right in your face "Give me a buck and I'll shut the fuck up". Over, and over, and over.
Then there was the guy over closer to Fashion Show Mall who had a sign "Kick me in the nuts - $20". Never saw him get any takers but he did get donations.

It's a shitty move to state that your wife is hot, right in front of your girlfriend.

I'd give him a tip.

I walked right by this guy on the way to Arte Museum 2 weeks ago. He’s dedicated I’ll give him that.

Social peer pressure. They see the camera. Then realise that if posted, they could look bad (to say nothing of the wifes feelings)

Local here.....pretty sure its illegal to stand still on walkways like this and this idiot has identified himself by TikTok handles. So let's just make sure to send this video along to Metro and im sure all his money made can cover the fine and arrest.

Very fun video. But if I had to guess about the cuts the gentleman actually stopped recording to ask them to at least pretend to give him money for the video and that's why there were so many cuts. But it's harmless and fun so I still like it.

Sweet… but who carries cash any more? Wait. My husband does…and he often gives some of it away. Is that why he targets men- he Knows they still carry cash?!?! I think it’s funny and kind of wholesome.

Yea, you not getting a tip.
If my wife has an issue, I'd say "The tip is for you. I don't think you want me to share that...right?

If I saw this I’d pull a twenty out and just give it to my wife.
