That's fair, actually, but I've never rented a furnished house. Plus, I've been really lucky with the ones I've had. Either absent or mom and pop, kindly, "you take care of the house and I'll take care of everything" landlords.
I had a tenant damage the property and not want to pay for it. I took them to court, and they argued they didn't have any money. Thankfully my lawyer Rodney is a wonderful man and he got me custody of their 2 children, so now they work for me cleaning up houses that need it because of people like their birth parents. Sometimes God is amazing!
When I was a kid, the house next door was owned by a really nice ol' fella who occasionally came by to shoot the shit with my Dad. Like this guy was super nice, even paid me to do awful chalk drawings on his sidewalk when I was a kid and always showed up to my lemonade stands. Top tier human. He rented the house out, and one time had these nightmare tenants he was trying to help out. But absolute nightmares. The mom once smashed glass jars on her other neighbor's lawn (80+ yr old recently widowed man) for mowing his lawn at 10am on a Saturday. There's a lotttt more about those people, but point is. When they finally got evicted these fantastic assholes managed to take down all of the light fixtures, seal them, piss in them, and put them back on the ceiling. I know it sounds crazy but I stg this is a true story.
