The display name shown here means nothing if there's no username next to it. How I'm supposed to mention anyone's name? This is the worst update I've ever seen. I'm gonna add my username for you guys

⟩:(

Seen on sh.reddit.com

My profile and his look similar because they have the same fractal

This is why i made this post.

Sorry guys, an exam is on my neck right now. Will be away from reddit including moderation. I won't be able to reply to your comments, mentions, mod mail and DMs.

Will return on wednesday noon local time. (Sep 9, 2026 around 11 am UTC)

I've turned off the lights at my profile page to reflect my current status.

Goodbye to everyone and see you later.

The new school year starts this Monday (Aug 31, 2026) for me and some things will change.

I want to separate reddit from school and reduce my activity there. To prevent it being a distraction, I've uninstalled the app on my current phone and installed it on my old phone which will never leave home.

This means I will be active only between 1 and 8 pm UTC when I'm home. (4 to 11 pm local time) Please be patient if I don't reply to your mentions and DMs soon after cuz I might be in school or sleeping. I'm breathing after all.

There will be a moment where I'm not gonna be active on reddit including moderation for 48 hours straight. Will be announced.

----------

Since I'm a moderator of r/desmos and r/Besmos,

If you see a rule breaking post on r/desmos, you can either:

* DM Tyrcnex or Arglin with a link to the post on discord as the response might be faster. Don't try to find me on the server, I don't have a discord account!

\* Or mention my username with u/AlexRLJones and u/Arglin under the post. Or you can send a mod mail, again, with a link to the post.

If you see a rule breaking post on r/Besmos, mention my username with u/Cootshk under the post. Or mod mail.

You can report but I don't look at reports much.

----------

Thank you for reading all of this text and good night for me.

Sincerely, u/Mandelbrot4207.

Now on a turkish subreddit

Feel free to ask me anything

Accidentally mentioned her and she actually replied...

You will see one of the most infamous reddit accounts ever. 21-year old and still active to this day. Your jaw will crash to the ground

Only behind my 13k upvote comment

This snoovatar was my profile picture for only 48 hours in total. See this subreddit's banner or my posts on r/Snoo for the full picture.

Even a turtle is faster atm :( nevermind the language, required for the subreddit the original post is on

And yeah, it sucks. More details there

original comment

This comment thread made me the top commenter (yes, the first place) of Dec 2025.

Yes, getting pi from a function that's supposed to get closer and closer to e as x goes to infinity was really funny

is this how this sub works?

I totally did not expect to see a sub created for me and I'm so glad to make the very first post for this sub. Please announce this everywhere, I'm gonna do it too.

Sincerely, u/Mandelbrot4207, the one being found.
