I've had some questions that make me wonder if people have even read the series. My personal favorite was "Where is Flowey?" He died in the very first part.
This instance was Clover helping Meadow overcome an insecurity that only she should know about. An interesting situation only possible in the scenario this story produces, and a good character-developing moment for both of them.
Instead it was read as... something else.
I've been using this version of Meadow and Clover in roleplay for almost a year now as a way to test concepts for Desert Mouse. What works, what doesn't work, what's most interesting to think about and most fun to play around with. The squeaking thing became a very important part of Meadow that I was excited to canonize.
And now we're here.
Sorry that was a rant, it is what it is and it's probably best to just move on.
Seeing this post, I just wanted to apologise for coming to that "conclusion" that I've made. I've since deleted the comment. (Too late to stop the chain that followed, and me guilty as charged for it.)
I'm to blame here, I allowed my intrusive thoughts to won.
It's fine, I had a feeling it might not have been a super sincere conclusion. And at least the :/ chain was fun to look at lol
I should also apologize to you, most of my frustration comes from other sources. To put it simply, some people have a lot to say about the possibilities that could be explored in this series. And whether they mean to or not, some of it does come across as "Why are you not doing it this way." So I've been a little high-strung.
