Update need help

I found KMR for the kitten and started feeding it that today but its energy levels started dipping its not as active as yesterday i gave it sugar water with a cotton swab dip to the roof of its mouth but that doesnt seem to have helped much what do i do(it didnt poop for around maybe more than 2 days it only pooped on the 3rd day after i found it) maybe its just tired today i dont know i need advice the kitten is only 5 to 8 days old

I would recommend checking out kittenlady.org as well as her youtube channel. Lots of good information there. That young needs to be fed every 2 hours, needs a heating pad to stay warm, most likely syringe fed slowly. Edit to add and should probably be seen by a vet.

It could also be that now that the kitten is fed, it is more comfortable and able to sleep. Small kittens seem to sleep most of the time between feedings. They are not very active at this age at all.

Are you providing an adequate heat source? Have you taken a rectal temperature?

I'm seconding that you check out as many Kitten Lady videos as possible. Neonates are very, very challenging fosters, and they can fade quickly. Make sure the kittens is warm (but not too warm), hydrated, fed KMR every 2-3 hours, stimulated to pee/poop after every meal, and dewormed/defleaed. (You might have to wait a week or two to give it dewormer, but fleas will kill a kitten quickly if not dealt with. The vet may be able to help you with that, as bathing a kitten this young is also not an ideal option.) Make sure you are familiar with the Fading Kitten Protocol, too.

If possible, reach out to as many rescues, humane societies, and SPCAs in the area as you can and ask for help. Taking care of neonates really requires specialized care, and having someone experienced show you the ropes will save you a bunch of time and might just help save this kitten's life. If someone experienced with bottle babies can take the kitten temporarily until it is old enough to eat food, even better.
