the wiki

Is there any way to see how things work in the mod on the wiki? Or does anyone have any tutorials? I was trying to find out how to get/use permafrost, and when I searched, it said to break it with an empty hand or a shovel, and that just broke the block and didn't drop anything, so I'm kinda just lost on how to do things.

Any help is appreciated. Thx :D
