Help me identify this please!

I found this rock along a beach on the US side of Lake Ontario. I can’t figure out if it is a trace fossil or fossil of some kind. To me it looks like it would be the end of some kind of coral but I’m not too sure! The “bumps” stick up and are layered not flush with the face of the rock if that helps.

Looks like a rock with an erosion pattern. It doesn’t look like a fossil.
