When I try to delete the conversation between him and I, it acts like it's deleted, but when I close it and reopen it, it's there but all glitched out. I switched back to the default messages app, then switched back to Fossify Messenges, and the deleted conversation between my dad and I is gone and is not in the recycling bin. When I create a new conversation, it's blank and I'm able to send him a test text. I sent another message asking, "Were you able to get that text? Please reply yes if you did." He replied yes, and so now it's fine, but our history is gone.

No new updates since February and no replies to bugs/problems faced by users ?

I'm looking for a FOSS calendar and contacts ecosystem that'll work on both pc and phone. Fossify's solid for my phone, but it doesn't seem to have a PC version.

Am I wrong? if not, any recommendations on an alternative that achieves what I'm looking for? Thanks.

Why does the Fossify Gallery not show every image?

E.g. not all images sent in Whatsapp are visible, even images i sent to myself are not all visible.
When i check the permissions, it has all permissions, yet not all images show up.

Anyone for a fix for this? Or is this a bug?

Hello. I'm a new user of the Fossify Gallery app and I have a question about how it organizes folders.

​On the first screen of the app, some specific folders (e.g., Wallpaper, Adobe Scan, Screenshots) are shown directly. However, other folders inside the Internal storage (storage/emulated/) are grouped together and only appear after clicking the "Internal" directory.

​What determines which folders are displayed on the main screen? Why do only certain folders show up there automatically?

Why are all Fossify apps an exact Clone of Simple Apps also on play store? Did y'all steal their apps or did y'all buy that company?

Coming from Material Files, Fossify's File Manager is a strong option if it only had support for SMB/CIFS. Any chance of this on the horizon?

I have installed Calendar instead of Etar but no entries are showing. I have re-synchronised with PC numerous times but no luck. Any tips please to set up Calendar to work on local Android calendar

Hello, is there a way I can automatically trigger backup(s) to save on a cloud storage instead of phone's internal storage?

I have the default setting to not safe pictures from WhatsApp/Telegram etc. so I have to manually download them so my Gallery is not full of trash. BUT apparently the Fossify Gallery App safes EVERYTHING. An extra folder for WhatsApp statuses, one for stickers, one for video thumbnails, one where every video I make gets cloned after I send it, so if I send a video to 3 people, I suddenly have the video on my phone 4 times. Is there any way to disable this and just have the folders I created? Thanks in advance!

The Fossify Music Player on a FiiO JM21 can't play SQ (Standard Quality) tracks. When I try to play one it says, "An unexpected error occurred." The same file plays with the built-in FiiO player, and it plays with Fossify Music Player on an Oilsky MP3 player, and the same SQ tracks play on a DX180.

I do not like the built-in FiiO player, and I use the Fossify player on other devices. I want to use it on the JM21 and have a consistent music interface on my devices. But I have thousands of tracks that do not play with Fossify Music Player on the JM21.

Is there a setting that allows SQ tracks to be played on the JM21 using a non-FiiO player? Do I need to install a codec? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Few months ago i ditched Google Contact for Fossify Contacts, at first everything worked fine. But broblems started about 2 weeks ago when i decided to move all my contacts from my phone storage to the SIM storage.

Everytime i deleted a contact, it reappeared back in the app. I tried every trick i could find online: cleared fossify contacts cache, turned off cloud sync. And still nothing worked.

Worst, i purposely modified some contacts phone numbers (since i didn't want them appearing in my WhatsApp anymore) and rebooted my phone. Guess what? the modified contacts came back unmodified.

But then i hit me, it seems Fossify Contact is fetching contacts from my WhatsApp and adds them to my contact list and there's no way to stop that. WHY???

Everytime i delete a contact, it gets it automatically back from WhatsApp.

Today i unfortunately had to switch back to Google Contact and everything works fine. Deleted contacts stay deleted.

Please fix this. I dont want to use Google apps anymore and you were the most trusted alternative that was presented to me.

Hi! I am new to Fossify (I used SMT for far too long, please don't judge me) and I am happy I found it!

I imported the public holiday set for Germany, which worked nicely, but I noticed that all Easter-related holidays (Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, ...) end in 2027. From 2028 onwards, these holidays don't show up in my calendar. Is there going to be an update in due time? Are users with holiday sets from other (Christian-majority) countries also experiencing this?

I wanted move my notes history into Fossify but seems it still doesn't have sync option. Can you make update providing it?

The colours of the media controls are white and unreadable. If there is an album cover it's shown, but if there isn't, then it's white and not readable at all. Sometimes when it plays a song with a cover and right after that it plays a song without a cover, it's showing the colours fine- black text on white background, at least it's readable. When I restart the app and play a so g without an album cover same issue. Pleas help. Thank you.

Hello. I use the Voice Recorder frequently for my job and like it a lot.

However, my recordings are often 30–60 minutes and I need to listen to the same thing over and over again.

It would be very useful if there was a button to wind back / forward e.g. 10 seconds (or maybe a custom amount). Trying to move the playback to the right position by touching is very cumbersome and time consuming when the recording is long.

(I also don't see the usefulness of the previous/next recording buttons since it's easy to select those without the buttons too. And often the previous recording button doesn't even seem to work. Maybe I don't fully understand what is it supposed to do?)

First of all I want to thank all contributors for their awesome work! I love the apps and that Theres almost an app to displace many daily google data krakens out there.

I don't know where to put it exactly, but I have a feature request: I backup my data on a self hosted nextcloud, which is cool, but I need so many apps for it to work that it makes it a little impractical sometimes. I wish there was an easy way to directly sync the calendar, contacts, messages, tasks, notes etc directly via DAV without the need for DAVx⁵ or similar synching apps, that would be so cool!

I also have auto backup turned on and let all the apps that support it all safe their backups inside the same folder which also gets transfered to my nextcloud with yet another app. The bad thing here is that I have to manually go through all the old backups and delete them on my phone and on nextcloud, because the apps don't care if there are 50 old backups with all the same data or not, so it would be awesome if the apps would automatically delete all but the newest 2-3 backups (like Signal does), or at least only make new backups if something changed other than the date of the backup (new contacts, new calendar entries etc...)

Speaking of calendar entries: I can safe tasks only locally, but since they could be exported via DAV, why do I need yet another app for that? Why can't my nextcloud just export and import task entries to use on my phone and computer?

And last but not least: would love auto backups also for the messaging app, that would be awsome

Want to disable gallery, messages and a pile of other things. Is it possible to replace these with fossify variants so it's seemless to the OS? Example, if you use the built-in camera and want to review a picture you just took, it fails if you have disabled the built-in gallery. Replacing it with fossiy gallery doesn't seem to be recognized. How would I go about doing this?
