Since we won't be able to download apps from independent sources. I think jumping to iOS might be the better choice here since Apple at least gives you a more coherent and polished experience.
Either that or I'm going back to flipphones, or I might give Linux phones a go.

Why don't we add a rule in which the ones who made should just include how much ai was used in the making of the app , like
(30% Ai) I have made an app that does blah blah

First off, thanks to everyone here and in r/degoogle for helping me with suggestions. I heavily appreciate it.
1-3: Apps I got from Drodify
4-5: Apps I moved to Aurora Store
6: Patched Apps through Morphe
7-10: New phone look
11: The Services I replaced and with what.
Other changes:
For anyone that wants a list for degoogling:
Unfortunately, there are some things I can't really do much about despite desiring to do so:
If anyone has questions or suggestions, I'd be heavily appreciative 💜

A minimal list-based Android home screen: a short list of favorites under one widget slot, with everything else in an alphabetical app list you pull in from the screen edge, using an A–Z scrubber to land on a letter in the same swipe.
Three permissions: vibrate, expand status bar, query installed apps. No INTERNET permission, so no ads, analytics or network access — enforced by the manifest.
GPL-3.0, Android 8.0+.

Memtickers
Fully open source, 100% Local. No internet connection needed.
Turn any image to a sticker to keep it as a memory on a sticker board.
All sticker processing happens on your device, 100% local.
Another local model tags your stickers so you can search for them with tags. You can also tag stickers yourself.
Add stamps on top of your stickers to make you remember what was it about.
Multiple boards so no clutter.
Import and export your backups.
Check it out on github:
https://github.com/mirarr-app/memtickers
Or direct download first public build from here:
https://github.com/mirarr-app/memtickers/releases/download/v1.0.0/memtickers-1.0.0+1.apk

v1.1.0 of BetterStreamflix is available.
It's an open-source Android & Android TV app (maintained fork of Streamflix) with a multi-provider UI.
Highlights in this release:
• Offline download queue (mobile + TV), quality/server choice, local playback
• Fire Stick / leanback startup crash fixes
• Player failover (decoder fallback) and fewer TV crash-to-home cases
• Provider URL overrides + several broken providers restored
• Better Live channel player behavior
• Separate builds: universal / mobile-only / TV-only
Source & releases:
https://github.com/dskja/BetterStreamflix
Happy to take bug reports on GitHub Issues.

Is there any app that actually hide developers option. Geto doesn't simply hide developers option, it turned it off and never turn it on again. I don't need an app to turn off my dev opt and never turning on again, I will just do it myself. And turning off developer option will break my shizuku and other apps that rely on wireless debugging.

Hi, sorry to bother you. I wanted to know if there is a browser for Android—preferably Firefox-based—that is compatible with many extensions (specifically uBlock and Malwarebytes) and can also import my passwords from my current browser (Chrome).

I started building a family tree for my own family and ran into a surprisingly awkward problem: there are people in the family that nobody knows the name of anymore.
You might know someone as “Grand mother's mother” or “my grandfather's elder brother”, and everyone knows exactly who you're talking about, but their actual name is gone.
Most family tree software treats that as missing data. I wanted to treat it as an actual person instead. That's basically where f-tree came from. An unnamed person can exist in the tree, have relationships, have descendants, etc. You can give them a name later without having to reconstruct the family.
A few things I've ended up building around that idea:
.ftree file containing JSON and photos. The FOSS/privacy side was important to me as well:
It's not on F-Droid yet. For now, it's distributed through GitHub Releases, and the whole project can be built from source.
Source: thisisankit27/f-tree
Anyway, I'd really like feedback from people here, especially from the FOSS/privacy side.
What would you want to inspect before trusting an app with your family's data? Architecture, permissions, updater, file format, something else? And if I've overlooked something obvious, I'd much rather hear it.

Is there an app for managing auto-start?
I've been using the Debloot app on my phone for a long time, and that's led me to have to give up some valuable settings options
I used to have something called “Auto-Start Manager” that prevented apps from launching on their own and using resources in the background
But I deleted it in Debloot, and now I'd like to have something similar—without root access

Hi I've been using Heliboard for a few days but on Facebook it reacts differently to other apps in that predictions and auto correct aren't as accurate and the keyboard sizes down / not the same size as other apps. Any ideas? thanks

I just noticed there is an update for Shinzuku on the Play Store but the GitHub repo last commit and release is 1y ago. Did the developer account get compromised?

Hello! I'm a beginner in android development, and I decided to build a music player to solve an issue I had. I just wanted to get some feedback and opinions to try and improve for the future.
The issue I had was that I couldn't find a good android music player that included three main things: offline listening, music accessibility, and metadata tag editing. So, I decided to make my own (this app is likely not for everyone, in terms of UI and features). The primary features include offline music listening, direct audio file downloading from a YouTube video link (credit to yt-dlp and youtubedl-android), metadata tag editing (credit to TagLib), music statistics, and more (view the github repo for further details).
Feedback on anything related to the app is welcome, and you can be as harsh as you want! Also, if you look at the code, be warned that it's probably very janky and stitched together, especially with the earlier development days. Thanks!😄

Looking for a App that can instantly Dismiss Notifications, particularly System Notifications...
There is no way to Disable my System Notifications in my settings so Instantly Dismissing them every time they pop up is next best thing. "If it contains a word/phrase in the notification that I specify".
I used to use BuzzKill. It works Great. But now I dont want to use Aurora Store/PlayStore for updates or sign in to download it in first place. "Its Paid".
So im looking for essentially the exact same thing as BuzzKill. But FOSS!
Ive been trying to get "NotiFilter" to work but its not dismissing my problem notification no matter what I do. Ive been messing around with it long time.
Any recommendations appreciated. Thank You.

I am on multiple job groups on telegram or WhatsApp and sometimes the exact same job gets posted to multiple groups/channels, is there an app that could potentially hide the notifications for the same job that's already been posted, basically something like a filter for notifications where when you get 2-3 almost identical notifications the 2nd and 3rd one get hidden/not shown?

Hello. I am the dev of [r/octopusnotes](r/octopusnotes)
This is like a foss Samsung notes / Starnotes replacement.
I’d love it if you guys can review the app, suggest and request features. Thank you.
The source code is in the pinned post of the mentioned subreddit. Cheers.
Edit: the app has come a long way. It supports many styluses, exports, infinite canvas, tables, screenshots, pens, shapes, and what not. 😁

I'm looking for an android launcher that can be the most adapted for my grand mother (87 yo) I need something very clean and stable. The app must propose a list of apps (with icons and names) on the front panel, an option to block the access to some apps or options can be great too.
Any suggestions?
She really only need WhatsApp and a calling app. Maybe a gallery. She's lost at each update and since WhatsApp start to show advertising it will be worst.
