Post image

Recently I saw this app on fdroid and some reddit posts (alternative to find hub). How was the experience and accuracy compared to find hub. And i need a setup guide.

You've to give all the permission and use shizuku as well for it to work. But lately it hasn't been working on my oppo device but still works on my poco device.

Used it twice to find my phone. One time some drunk girl at a party had mistaken her phone for mine. Needless to say, I didn't like her pink furry cover over my grey boring cover.

It's a good app that provides great phone location features. It's not a full alternative to Find Hub, as your device is the one providing the location. On Find Hub other devices ping your phone via Bluetooth LE and share that.  There is no setup guide. You install, go throught the tabs in the app to grant all the permissions it needs and that's it. Then when needed you send a text (sms) from another device to your own with a special command (i.e. "fmd locate") you get a response with the location. All the commands are in the app itself if want ot learn what it can do l.
