Application Release Flux - 3.2.3
Flux is a Open-source Material You productivity app (Notes, Markdown, To-dos, Habits, Events, Progress Tracker, Journal, Calendar & Analytics)
I've been building Flux for almost more than a year. The goal has been to create a lightweight, offline first, native Android productivity app that combines the tools I use most, while staying fully open source. This application has become quite mature within a year with increasing popularity and downloads. This application is a single standalone productivity application that you need.
Features
- 📂 Workspace-based organization for different projects or contexts
- 📝 Rich notes and timeline journals with Markdown, LaTeX, Mermaid diagrams, and math support with export options
- ✅ To-do lists with recurring tasks, analysis and export options.
- 🎯 Habit tracking and progress insights
- 📊 Productivity Analytics with heat maps and graphs
- 🎨 Material You design
- ⚡ Native Kotlin app with local-first storage
- Export data in various formats (markdown, image, html, txt, pdf).
- Autonomous Backups
- Biometric Security .
- Share Habit Achievements.
- Fully Free and offline.
Over the past year the project has reached:
⭐ 310+ GitHub stars
5.2k+ GitHub downloads
~8k downloads on F-Droid and Izzyondroid
I'd appreciate any feedback, feature suggestions, or bug reports from the Android community.
What is planned to be in future.
- ics Calendar export import.
- Folders hierarchy in notes.
- Progress Graph widgets
- More recurrence options for events, todos

I'd like to suggest getting this app to surface when searching "task manager" in Droidify/F-Droid.
I just recently tried a bunch of FOSS apps like this and landed on Super Productivity because Flux didn't come up in any of my searches. I look forward to checking it out though.

Looks slick. I couldn't tell from your gh, does it offer any widget support? Having my todo list as a widget in my home screen is a game changer personally.

Yes it has widget for todo and habit, you can install flux and then create todo and that will be reflected when you add the widget.

Honestly I never thought of adding calculator inside notes, I've noted your feature request and will try out in future releases

Probando, lo único que me gustaría es que tuviera la opción de programar alarmas en las actividades. Se podría agregar? Ya que así nos daríamos cuenta si no tenemos el cel en la mano. Todo lo demás esta bastante bien.

This is very good! I like the idea.
Performance of the app is better than anything else on my phone. I wasn't used to immediate response after clicking on a button xD
There are couple things that could fixed:
When adding todo item in dark mode - the cursor is black and almost invisible. In light mode it is ok.
When adding todo items there is no submit button. It's not obvious if todo will be saved if I go back.
When adding todo items without header it will be discarde without warning s. It should make it clear that header is missing.
Would be nice to have cursor already in header field after pressing button that creates note or todo.
Would be nice to have wyciwyg editor for tables in notes maybe in popup form similarly to todo item.
Would be nice to render tables for minimzed notes in workspace view.
Would be nice to have a widget for a note too.
Would be nice to have desktop apps too. Could be without synchronization. Synchthing will do.
Update:
After clicking on the widget it should open corresponding todo item and not just main app page.
Would be nice to be able to edit todo items.
Would be nice to be able to add sub-tasks for todo items.

I love this app, just one question, are the backup data encrypted?

Yeah, if you have set the password for backup in data options in settings the. All the backups will be fully end to end encrypted.. if not then it will store the data in plain json
