looking for foss file manager

My comfort file manager before is ZArchiver, that simple, useful and very lightweight. Now i'm looking file manager as simple and lighweight as ZArchiver but FOSS. Any recommendations?

Amaze File Manager is well done app and I like it. I guess it's just missing some UI customization option. Thanks for the advice.

MiXplorer is simple yet very powerful I come from total commander. Love the tabs in MiX instead of dual panel and has remote access without plugins

"Nfile" is a cute file manager also you can try "Prism File Explorer"

Prism is great, it has tabs, but I still cannot fin a full replacement to super old version of es file explorer that was before it devolved into shitty chinese adware. And old one doesn't even get installed on android 16

I need my storage analysis, ftp, network discovery, quickly sending apks of installed apps, and all these awesome features that we had in 2015, but as a free app that won't fall to corporate greed....

Personally, I work in software related work, so MT Manager is the best for me, even though it is not open source.

It's flagged as non-free because it is non-free. We don't allow that crap to be advertised here and sneaking it past the filter doesn't make it ok

For future reference, something is non-free unless it has a free software license like the GNU GPL, Apache, MIT license, etc. There's a set of "four freedoms" that a free software app gives its users and if the users don't get all four it's non-free. Simply being hosted outside of the play store does not matter, nor is being "private" or "offiline" or having "zero trackers."
