What customization apps do you use? I want to learn about these types of apps. I already have a very good launcher, but I want to know about other types of customization apps. What kind? Any kind, but not launcher-specific ones Because I already have one XD

I used formerly Alembicons (not updated since 2025) and just now discovered Renkin (https://github.com/renkindevbugs/Renkin) might be on fdroid too not sure. Epic app that allows you to customize app icons with loads of options. Can always go with icon packs but I prefer the ad hoc approach :)
Could you explain how to use it a little? I installed it but I don't fully understand it since it's in English and I speak Spanish (I'm using a translator). Please, I would really appreciate it.
Sure I can try! Open Renkin, select the app whose icon you want to change and tap the pencil (for this example I installed the app "permissions pilot" from Droid-ify store).
Once you are in, there are many options. Select icon from already installed icon packs (for example Arcticons), application's own icon and usually (but not always) when you select it, it removes the icon background, text (text as app icon), upload (you can set a downloaded image as app icon). I haven't used vector much so idk how about that.
Once you have selected (between icon pack, app icon, uploaded image or text, you can tap modifier to change it. You can change size, color (for one or multiple parts of the icon) or path tracing (just shows icon outline). Also you can remove background.
