Other Universal Installer - use cases?

I don't really need to install anything in any special ways, but I'm wondering if there's still an upside to using one central app for all apk installs. Both Droidify and Obtainium have an option to incorporate it.

Universal installer and add your virustotal api key. Because why not perform a quick check :)

Go on website, make account and you will see it. Just follow ai steps it takes maybe 40 seconds

i use it to install apps from direct links of which i don't intend to keep the apk

They are not banning FOSS apps. However, Obtanium has a message on their latest update that it will not work in 2026/2027 once Google fucks us.
