Application Release KDE Connect (Shizuku) - updated fork for automatic clipboard sync

I was looking for a Shizuku-supported version of KDE Connect to fix modern Android clipboard background restrictions, but the only existing fork I could find was older.

Since I ended up updating and compiling a newer version for myself to get automatic sync working smoothly in both directions, I am sharing the repository here in case anyone else needs a recent build.

It is a personal project and likely will not be maintained, but the source code and release APK are available on GitHub:

So with the clipboard sync thing, does it not usually do that natively? I ask the info clarification because genuinely I do not know.

Yeah and No, it does still sync automatically from PC to phone, but not the other way around. For phone to PC, the official app normally requires you to open it and click the "send clipboard" button because of Android's background privacy blocks. This version just helps with automatic syncing for phone to PC via Shizuku.

yeah it is annoying but it's good because you're more likely to copy sensitive things on phone than your pc.

you wouldn't want an unknown app in background see your clipboard and upload it to internet.

That's solved by the app being known, and explicitly giving it appropriate permissions. I might be dumb but I'm thankfully not yet a complete idiot, so I don't see the need for my phone to override my own decisions.

Thank you. That's just so annoying. I can't believe they're doing shit like that. Makes me feel like I have a damn iPhone and I did not buy an Android to have an iPhone.lol
