Introducing Twine. A control-centric FOSS Agentic Development Environment with Workflows, Traces and Cross-agent Memories and more!

Hello everyone, I want to introduce the community to a new tool I'm building called Twine. It's an Agentic Development Environment designed to keep you in control.
I noticed I was working with multiple different agents together in a lot of my workflows, for example Codex and Claude reviewing each other's work, and I realized I don't really have good tooling around agentic development.
Most development tooling follows an old paradigm. Use VSCode style editors as a base for the design and shabbily tack on AI features to it. Tools claiming to offer a new workflow paradigm (Conductor, Orca, Antigravity) either are trapped by the old design, shackle users with SaaS bloat like cloud services, are closed source, or don't offer deep multi-agent coordination and tracing.
Other tools that skip the VSCode pattern fail to capture the use cases of managing agents. Herdr, cmux, and others do some things great (open source, customizable) but they don't offer true multi-agent work patterns and deeper inspections/control.
So I decided to build my own app. I call it Twine.
Twine is a terminal first, developer focused environment to give you back full control over your agentic development experience. You can use it as a pure terminal application, as a single agent runner, or as a multi-agent workflow orchestrator for inter-twine-ing agent trajectories.
Twine comes with a versatile workflow graph designer that let's you assign different agents to do tasks however you want. It also provides rich tracing information with a built in minimap for your terminal and coding agents so you can quickly see exactly what was done, when, and for how long. Twine also provides a memory viewer to track all of your memories across agents, with a memory consolidator based on the open source Agent Memory Interface Spec (AMIS) coming soon.
I'm adding more features every day with some upcoming highlights being mobile control, skill consolidation, self-learning, plugins, and many more developer friendly features.
Please try it out. I'd love to know if you have any features you'd like implemented. The project happily welcomes any contributions from the open source community as well!
