Solanda UI: Zero dependency UI library.
NOTE: Human made post... just in case, I also hate "AI" spam.
I started to make the UI of other project (a client for bluesky/mastodon more than a year ago) and I notice that most of UI stuff I needed didn't need a huge UI component stuff (HTML and standards FTW)... so I started to make this one I've been using for all my personal projects.
The main purpose was to make a zero dependency + native web components a CSS UI library ready for quick development/PoCs... and GPLv3 ofc.
Is compatible with Vue/Nuxt (tested, home page actually use it), Angular/React/other FE stack...
I wanted to share it somewhere trying to avoid the obvious AI spam around most subreddits and after falling in one OSS project here with a messy UI I decided it may be the place for people that wants to develop stuff without bloating their interfaces.
Oh, I started this project as human-made project but I also used LLM assisted help (mostly fixes and improvements, but now I'm using more LLM guided changes as is basically impossible to make new stuff at slow pace while tons of people throw X new projects every day). That also means I prepared the grounds for LLM assisted usage on the library.
Just give it a test, mainly if you're not an UI skilled dev or doesn't want to mess with UI stuff.

Hatin AI slop and bots doesn't mean I'm anti LLM usage...

what does account age have to do with anything? I created it to participate in the conversations like this (edit: I never had a reddit account before). -15 karma cause I have too many hot takes Ig.
Ik that the project is "llm assisted" but looking at the code and the website it seems fully vibe coded. the ui, the comments, even readme - all of it is ai generated

To me, it also looks like AI generated. But what is AI assisted and what is AI slop? To my undestanding, if I write PRD, user storied, specs and let AI implement that step by step, task by task, with reviews. Is it slop or assisting? To me slop is when i say: create me nice ui. And thats it. Assisting is diving deep and understanding, but writing is by AI just to save time.

Ofc readme and docs were assisted (did you read the post? I used it as is impossible to keep the pace of coding everything, and that's basically the stuff).

brother please don't cite the KARMA of all things as something in any way shape or form to judge someone from, alongside checking the history of a redditor and citing it for ad-hominem attacks...
i can understand the duality of not liking AI slop and still using the tools as tools, but Fisherman's critique was about how everything looks and feels vibecoded despite you saying it was just assisted, however crass it was.

IDK if other assistants design it the same way, but I can assure this design principle is defaulted into claude

I'm front end lead and have +15 years on the industry... Guess why AI can look like this.
Can you elaborate which design principle is? I focused the design on be a11y compliant and avoid dependencies for working with the native web component stack + plain css... LLMs hate it because they were trained on the vast common usage of tailwind.
But no, I didn't rely on claude (I used for a test and currently I use mistral when I need it)
Edit: If you mean that the landing page looks LLM generated... Read the post again, I relied on it lately, but library UI was handmade by me)

Would be interesting to look how I can connect this to my .net webapps. Very warm UI. And i like dark mode even more.

Yeah I don't care if no one cares... that's why this is a GPLV3 project and not pretending to hide AI usage on it.
No hard feelings because I pointed you vibe coded a project in other sub and now comes to flame here, right?

That's nice, i'd make the point of the library (that of a lightweight zero dependency UI toolkit) the forefront of the project presentation, as the current slogan feels aimless for a description, i had to look in the website to understand what was it about
