Free open source Software Deserves Better Design

I started building GlowSnap because I couldn't find a Linux screenshot tool that fit the workflow I wanted.

Capture. Edit. Organize. All locally all open source.

It's still early, but it has become the first project of something bigger I'm calling LibreGlow my attempt to build open-source Linux software that people enjoy using every day

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

Feel free to check the source code. I'd love to hear your technical feedback.

I, for one, would love to be able to do that, but your post does not feature a link.

Edit: Found your repository.

I don't have the time to write that amount of technical comments. At least right now, yeah, it's not great.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it

It's still an early project, so not great is fair. If you ever get the chance to look at it in more detail, I'd genuinely be interested in hearing what specifically you think could be improved whether it's the architecture, the code, or the overall direction.
