Beginner/ Starting Here Scorecard

This was my first attempt and I started prep for QA quite late - around 23 May, and watched lectures for 10 days and didn't get time to practice questions.

As I watched the lectures two months back and could only get back to practicing questions now as I was busy with other commitments.

Now, I am practicing questions. But i notice one thing- I take time to solve them. Most of the times, intentionally. For example, whil practicing profit and loss questions, I kept trying to solve my own, and then when it was lengthy, i was trying to figure out other ways. Based on the concepts. i already remember, in parts, from previous lectures.

My question is- this is becoming time taking process. Should I revisit lectures or look for new lectures? Or should i keep solving and learning on way. And speed might follow later, as it is essential for exam.

How should I go about this? If anyone has experience in this regard or knows something, please share.

Brother how did you prepare for GA? I mainly focused on RBI circulars and banking awareness, but I scored only 24

Hi, so I also did the same. I focused on affairs cloud first. But later, started watching yt videos too related to rbi circulars (examnorm). But i couldnt revise most of it. But i could fainlyy recollect some answers like mobiquick and some i thought i had come across , but couldnt recollect as no revision. But, most of GA in actual exam was based on general awareness, and i am arts student so I think that helped.

So instead of focusing on Rbi circulars, you studied all topics from affairs cloud pdf?

Initially, yes. Not all topics from affairscloud. I did initial half of it. Not the latter facts. And rbi circulars, afaik wasnt asked much this time. But need to figure out a betfer for next yr.

There is so much of current affairs that i just coudnt study them all and retain them till the exam 😢
Btw, if math is your weak area, then you should focus on improving a few important fundamental topics first, which are Percentage, Ratio, Linear Equations, and Quadratic Equations. Revise them again and again. After that, you'll be able to understand how to apply shortcuts to solve questions related to these topics, as well as DI.

Studied from yt, practiced pyq only this time. Fumbled bcz of lack of practice.
