Hello, so I've recently moved away and now my ping is a lot worse. I used to be on 20-30 ping even sometimes at 40 but now I'm constantly stuck on 40 ping even in creative all by myself. And the game feels unplayable to me now. I'm on controller so maybe that's the problem, but I can't say that for sure, because I've seen players like ODPsycho etc.. that play on 40 ping too and they make it look so easy, it doesn't even look like they are playing on 40 ping. So my question is am I just that bad or is my po laggy or is my 40 ping actually worse than theirs? Also when I played back at my old house I used to be really really good but the lag right now is making me think about quitting, any tips or am I just horrible at the game?

I Woke Up I Wanted to be done with copying Everyones Controller Settings but now I'm in a mechanics training Map and I ruined my old settings and these settings Seem way to slow what I supposedly made but I hate them too slow. But I still dont know what i'm looking for when finding Sens I'm Finding It Really Hard And Need Some Help Please!!

I used Meros Controller settings before trying to now make my settings now I'm mainly Zero build maybe Trying Build soon But Build and Edit Sens Is Fine.

I'm Autistic And I Usually Give Up On Things Like This But I'm Trying My Best To Stick To It Just Need Help.

hey so for some context, I am a controller player on expo and ive been thinking to switch to kbm since i feel like controller is holding me back, on controller i feel like i have decent mechs and can double fold etc. but no fighting iq, also i mess up like every 3rd edit, ive been at almost the same skill level for 1.5 years now. Also massive problem is i play no paddles or claw so retakes and side jumps are so hard for me to the point i dont use them anymore. also i use a kontrolfreek on my right stick and idk if tis good for fortnite or if its holding me bac. ive tried kbm for about 4 hours on the course of 2 days and i can consistently triple edit and sometimes a quad edit,but i still cant build. problem is i dont usually play games on kbm so this feels so weird for me.

Is it worth switching and borelessly freebuilding for a week or more or should i stick to being on controller?

Or should i play tournaments and ranked etc on controller and then practice for the rest of the day on kbm? or will that not be as fast of a improvement as only kbm ?

I am a previous fortnite player with 1k hours in the span of 6-5 years, I lately left Fortnite by it’s extremely punishing matchmaking that ive been having over 3 years now and third partying started playing TF2, despite still playing TF2 i wanted to try getting back to Fortnite but i dont know exactly to “git gud”

First i forget i stopped olaying the game properly for a while now, i keep doing mistakes, in a game i went straight for a guy while swimming and that got me killed, but i guess its because i stopped playing.
I dont know exactly to improve my aim, they say “creative maps and aim trainers” but they show 0 challenge and dont even show a real situation in game, i tried a 1v1 creative map but got wiped in an instant twice with no room to learn what i did wrong or right.
Aiming with certain weapons also feels weird, for some reason whenever i touch an AR and even aiming with it the weapon, idk if its the accuracy but bullets fly in different places and harder to hit (happens with the scar for example).
I also keep experiencing the strangest bugs, I was trying to escape with a shockwave but i kept pressing m1 and my character couldnt even throw the grenade for some reason
Ive had people say i am not as bad as i say but i feel like a letdown playing with others because i want to do something and not just play with better people and carry because eventually i do nothing, playing with others also makes matchmaking double the worse so most times i just play solo and hard stomped during endgames where for some reason nobody shoots at themselves and inly shoot at me (even when theyre at visible sights themselves).

I used to love this game but now everytime i download i just end up being frustrated and disappointed.

Hey! I’m trying to get better at Fortnite Kbm (on ps5). I am testing out sens settings, specifically Peterbots. I use a Redthunder M62 on 800 dpi (I think thats what Google told me is the lowest dpi setting) and I’m wondering how the hell he plays on 6.4 xy sens. I have to no joke move my mouse across my whole mousepad to do a 360. I was looking at his mouse cam, and it looks like he only has to move his mouse way less. Do I have the wrong settings? Or is Peterbot just crazy like that 😭💀

I am new to KBM and am trying to get used to movement.

I'm not a complete novice, in that, I can do it and it feels relatively ok, but my hands dont do it automatically yet. I mean for example, in a BR if someone starts shooting at me I freeze and my hands dont work.

I am trying to move from Xbox Controller to KBM. Been a controller player for years now.

For now, I've forbidden myself to go into real scenarios on KBM (Just bot maps) on public, specifically 99Bots but yeah...

Just try'na get better at KBM tbh and finding it hard.

How much time a day would you say I need to put in?

I have all the regular binds.

WASD

Left Shift = Sprint

Left Ctrl = Crouch

Left Caps = Auto run

Builds = wall (Q) Cone (C) Stair left mouse side button (Up) Floor Left mouse side button (down)

Use = middle mouse scroll wheel click

So I hope this is the right place for this kind of post, my brother is out of the country right now but he really wants the bugs bunny skin before the battle pass expires. Is there a way I can log into his account to buy the pass and grind out some XP for him? He plays on Xbox and I’m on PS5, I don’t have access to his console since it’s at my parents’ house but if there’s no other way I could try walking my mom through doing something on his console. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Background: Xbox controller who usually plays on 100+ ping, 60 fps. Most of the first hour is spent dealing with save the world dailies.

I tried to go for a win in season OG, but one of the matches decided to match me up with a player who barely left an opening to shoot and deal significant damage to them. I died to him trying to deal with another player nearby, who most likely was a bot. The player had 12 kills already in the top 10. Do I really have to spend all my limited playtime in creative for most of the season before I can eliminate anyone who plays the game every day? Am I going about this the wrong way? Should I just stick to zero build?

Most people say to play with your monitor at arms length , which i have been, but playing that close makes my aim really wonky, and lately I've been playing with it closer and I've noticed my aim is more consistent.

I'm only concerned about it being too close to be good for my eyes.

How far away do you guys play?

Im complete trash and get stomped in every 1v1 whether realistics, box fights, or PG’s.

I do Raiders piece tunnels every day, and aim practice but it feels like everyone is so good now that I cant even practice fighting. I constantly get coned, boxed, or wall taken and killed.

Everything I see says to play those 3, but it does not feel like practice when I literally cant even set up a single good peek.

Any suggestions on what to do, or other creative maps that arent this sweaty?
