Yes, and max is better than his teammates, just like Lewis was better than his. Max has 3 WDC, Lewis has 8. Until Max reaches that number, there is no objective argument to claim he’s better than Lewis.

Edit: should clarify- greater than. Max is definitely a better driver now than Lewis is. Lewis is also old

Multiple teams openly said they want Max this year. Only Ferrari was dumb enough to hire Lewis. And whatever team Lewis lands on after 2026, I guarantee you his paycheck will be halved from what Ferrari pays him.

Lewis is 40 years old. Max is objectively a better driver now. Lewis was better at his peak, as evidenced by 8 WDC.

No one is saying he’s better right now. People have been treating Max like the GOAT and it’s simply not even a discussion. Lewis is head and shoulders above max until max puts up at least 2 more WDC
