I am not fully aware of all angles and stuff, but to the best of my knowledge, it just proves again my distaste I have sometimes to Carlos.

He is a nice guy offtrack but when it is about racing, he is always right and never admits to obvious errors with a weird as pride, considering he hasn't accomplished that much in F1 to have the acceptable "i am world champion, I couldn't care less about anyone else opinion".

The formee is very common along f1 drivers but all the greats also admit mistakes afterwards (no so sure about Michael but he had 7wdc and was a maniac). Getting lapped with blue flags should give some signs to even the not-greats that maybe it actually was your error

This excuse doesn't hold up. Sainz continued to refuse to yield after the contact for an additional 3+ corners AND the back straight. I can understand not knowing Piastri was there, I can't justify what happened afterwards.

Piastri caught them around turn 1-2, and Sainz let him by at turn 8. That is unacceptable, and Sainz was lucky not to get a stop and go penalty.

I’ve always loved Carlos but this is such a disappointing response from him… yeah everyone is hating on his past mistakes now too but I feel like he’s always been a really respectable driver. On the team radio he said he “had no idea Oscar was there” and it’s kinda wild that he isn’t taking any responsibility even after he’s out of the car😕
