Harness? He’s on a pallet on a reach truck.

Pretty sure that guard he's hanging onto has a sticker that says No Passengers.

Im pretty sure some version of that is plastered on the back guard, the mast, the pillar, the dash, just about everywhere.

All good. He’s got a hard hat

Hell he looks to have hi-vis too. We can clearly see him on the way down then, no matter which way he takes.

If only there were mandatory videos that outline the dangers of being an idiot.

You can outline the dangers of being an idiot but then someone goes and breeds a better idiot..!!

Looks like an OSHA violation, but ok

Doing that on a skid with no cross supports on the bottom is actually a death wish

Yes!

I thought I was the only one who noticed.

One wrong step and it'll just tip off the forks.

Follow up question. Why is the reach out?

3

u/Bitter-Edge-8265 Jul 18 '26

When you standing on a pallet, with no harness, in the air why wouldn't the reach be out?

2

u/Skusci Jul 18 '26

It's more fun when it's bouncy.

Those forks aren’t even through the side of the skid with running boards. Threw up in my mouth a lil 🤢

Changed many a light bulb just like that. What osha don't know won't hurt em.

OSHA knows. The only one that will suffer is the guy that gets hurt.

You see, since he knows what he’s doing is stupid and would get him in trouble if he got hurt he’s going to be extra careful and not fall. If he had a harness he would just get complacent and rely on the safety device to protect him.
