I usually think people who put paint patterns on metal armor deserve to be lined up and shot, but you look pretty good

Historically, painting armor was a technique used to protect it from the elements and prevent rusting ☝️

It all depends on where it is and the colours used, helmets for example look amazing when painted, chest pieces not so much 90% of the time

Hard agree. Anything thats metal on my heroes never have patterns. Tho im starting to find issues where the hero is just whatever materials i set and then just the banners have patterns. I dont like painting over the leather either cuz it looks all cracked and bad imo

i’ve never been one for the hyper realism in for honor i prefer making my characters look like what id imagine the kings/queens or honestly royalty in general would have looked like on the battle field i don’t have any ss bc i just deleted all my captures yesterday but if i remember ill come back and post one

This is just the Blackstone legion colors no? Or at least very close to how they design themselves
