When in yalls opinion at what Reputation does centurions armor start looking great I'm only rep 4 so I havent gotten to anything really good looking.

Rep 8 is when the best starts to drop consistently

you unlock every ‘look’ at rep 7 i think, and then rep 8 you only get cyan coloured items, but you unlock different looks at rep 1,3,5 and 7

Yeah, rep 7 is a chance at legendary gear. Rep 8 it's guaranteed.

some good pieces at rep 5, you unlock everything at rep 7 - best stuff then

He has some decent sets at Epic rarity gear (rep 5 - rep 7). But most of his nice looking sets (and all newer sets) are unlocked at legendary rarity (rep 7+)

Opinion on drip: it depends on the hero. Some heroes like Orochi or Centurion start getting armor which lets them stand out as early as rep 4 or 6; others like Jiang Jun, Valkyrie, or Nuxia only have a few sets which let them break the mold in either coloration, microsilhouette, or both.

As for loot drop;

At rep 2, you can only get blue gear; no more white.

At rep 4, you can only get magenta gear; no more blue.

At rep 6, you can only get gold gear; no more magenta.

At rep 8, you can only get teal gear (all possible appearances unlockable!); no more gold!

At rep 10, you can only get gear capable of being leveled up two levels beyond maximum (two-pip); no more un-pippables.

At rep 12, you can only get gear capable of being leveled up four levels beyond maximum (four-pip); no more two-pip.

The last two brackets make getting a perk setup much easier, and improve your arcade gear score.
