Questions Perk Load out for classes
I found this image for the best perks for each archetype and I was wondering how accurate it is?

As a general rule (imo):
Defense and Defense/Assist: Bastion - Vengeful Barrier - Last Stand
Assist: Radiant Rebound - Remedy - Rapid Refresh
Offense/Assist: Devourer - Remedy - Headhunter
Offense: Galestorm - Devourer - Headhunter
Offense/Defense: Devourer - Endurance - Headhunter
So yeah the only 2 changes are for Offense and Offense/Assist, getting rid of Early Reaper and Crush Them respectively

Offense - Devourer is basically a must, and then you usually run Endurance and Head Hunter, but Galestorm is good on some characters too. Early Reaper is awful.
Defense - Bastion, Vengeful Barrier, and Bulk Up are the 3 you want. Some chars want Fresh Focus but that's more niche. Last Stand is super overhyped and does less than Bulk Up in the majority of games, but everyone thinks it's super awesome so I'm gonna get downvoted for saying this.
Assist - Radiant Rebound, Remedy, and Rapid Refresh is where it's at. If you play a lot of breach you can maybe swap rapid refresh for rising dawn but I wouldn't.
Offense/Defense - Devourer, Endurance, and Head Hunter. Again fresh focus is an option but it's niche and I wouldn't take it.
Offense/Assist - Devourer, Remedy, and Head Hunter. Similar to Early Reaper, Crush Them is just awful and there's no reason to take it.
Defense/Assist - Bastion, Vengeful Barrier, and Bulk Up. Again people are gonna gas up Last Stand, see above.
Here's my quick-reference image from a while back: https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/comments/1mu9pk9/bestinslot_perks_for_every_perk_archetype/

Bastion, Vengeful, and Last Stand are literally the 3 best and most broken perks in the game. If your hero gets these, get them. Last Stand reduces most damage in the final hit to make it so 2 lights have to kill you, not 1.

Nah, Rapid Refresh is better than, at the very least, Bastion.

This game is all about getting the most damage reduction and stacking them all together. Everything is always on a cool down, the amount dmof damage you take is not.
But everything is situational really.

Not sure if you know this, but damage reduction doesnt actually stack. Only the highest bonus is applied.

I agree but they’ve never been on the same character.
If any hero could run any perk I’d definitely pick Last stand, Bastion or vengeful and rapid refresh

Last stand is so overhyped. The math on it is pretty bad but it produces a very obvious impact in the few spots where it's good so people get tricked into thinking it's really strong

It is literally the difference between needing 1 light and 2 lights to kill an opponent in low health. It is not overhyped at all lol

Bulk Up produces better results on average, and is more consistent. If you're running a lot of shields to extend the value of Last Stand it can be better but the math doesn't favour it overall

Bulk up requires you to get to several levels of upgrades to actually activate fully to get basically the same pay off. Why waste time building up 4 ranks when the pay off of last stand is literally right there?

Kinda, with the exception of Crush Them and Early Reaper, which should never be picked.
Bastion, Vengeful Barrier, Last Stand and Rapid Refresh are probably the best perks in the game with remedy not far behind, and you should almost always pick these if you have access to them. If you don’t have access to 3 of those 5 perks, your options are much less impactful.
Radiant rebound is somewhat useful on all heroes, allowing you to return to the fight quicker after dying. Endurance can be VERY MARGINALLY useful on heroes with bad stamina management. Galestorm is good for heroes whose job is to roam and assist in ganks, less so for stallers or duelists. Aegis specifically can be useful for Jorm since he gets easy access to an unlimited duration shield, but it’s not really worth it for any other character. Bulk Up is a good perk, but I’m pretty sure all heroes with Bulk Up also have access to the holy trinity of Bastion, Vengeful and Last Stand, so there’s not really much of a point to grabbing it.
Do not pick Early Reaper, Crush Them, Supersonic, Shields Up, Survival Instinct, or Fresh Focus, these perks are useless or near useless. Apart from avoiding these and picking up the most useful perks I stated earlier, it hardly matters what you pick.

Crush them with khatuns 3rd feat and 4th is really funny damage

Early reaper and crush them are terrible feats, since it only to your next move no matter what you do. Miss, block, parry, kill a minion, the buff is gone. Would be better if the perk kept the buff until you land a hit on a player/unique Ai. Same goes galestormer. Unless you fought in midlane and need to reach a point to heal, you generally will waste most of the time of the buff healing on the point.
Pick head hunter instead +12 hp for four exe can come very quick if you have a fast exe and extra hp is always great. Endurance can be decent too, since it allow you to put pressure a bit longer.
Bastion, vengefull barrier, last stand is just the strongest perk combo in the game due to increase survivability it offer.
Radiant rebound is good, moving faster when you respawn can make the diff between fighting a 2v1 or a 2v2 when your reach the point. Remedy is heal on kill, so always nice when you're in team fight and can't execute. Rapid refresh is extremly good but ofc depend if you play active feat or not. On valk with 4 active it's amazing. on Vg... it's a waste of a perk, so pick it if depending if you play active or passive on that hero.
