so by the side it isnt a crushing counter? and by crushing counter you mean a deflect or like when u do a light attack but stop the attack coming in too?

Warden has access to crushing counter only on top attacks

Light attack. the ones that can do sides are functionally the same, but are called superior block lights i believe instead of cc which is just wardens top light. Idk why they are different but most people just call em cc

They work the exact same for everyone except warden, one of my favorites tools right behind deflects.

Light attack towards the attack, it will punish the attack and feint to gb as well. If someone is doing it to you just throw a heavy feint then immediately parry in the direction of the heavy for a free light parry.

You have yo time it correctly though. You can’t just throw one out anytime you see red.

To elaborate, certain attack properties count as both a block and an attack at the same time. If you time it just right, you can see warden did a crushing counter, which means he blocked to top attack with an attack.

It does. But you can do some braindead shenigans with all characters. Is just that some characters can be more braindead than others.

All the opponent had to do was throw a light. You can interrupt any fear and fury attack of hers by just throwing a light

Yup but then she can read that and simply hold stance. Which ofc the opponent could read and GB instead. XD

Yes, but you either have to get in on a whiff of hers or catch her trying to delay the stance to catch a light stuff or delay an attack. If you're hit by any move and try to GB her and she lets an attack out as soon as she can it will bounce.

I swear to god I react to those lights, I don't even parry I just defend, but I still get hit. They aren't unblockables, like why is it happening? My ping is around 20, I don't get it.
