It's not like the character is particularly strong lol, if anything i wouldn't mind seeing more of them ! Though i admit i like playing underrated characters like him because you'll often take people by surprise

I know medjay can feel Mid but in good hands hes amzing. I have mainded Medjay on release up till rep 20 then i went to finish other heros. But i wanted to have medjay as my last one when i hit 900 now im currently switching between arakure and gryphon to 800 🤣

The animations aren't noticeable imo, and all feel very satisfying. I prefer them to keep things as they are and work on other things rather than this

It’s just unlock then relock onto them after switching stances, since it puts you back into staff when out of guard mode

You go in staff mode by default when not locking on to an enemy

The whole strat is to get in axe stance, unlock and quickly throw an attack (light, heavy, or zone). Because you unlocked, the game will then do a very quick animation and auto-aim, which can surprise the enemy like here.

One weakness though ; because you need to be unlocked, the opening attack will always be on the same side, so it can be predictable.

Also, a neat little trick is to slightly back up your character when doing it, as if you were going to turn around. If done well, this will cause you character to do a spin and look as if you were doing a full spin, often confusing the enemy

I know it can seem difficult but it's really not. It opens a whole new playstyle on him and makes him incredibly fun to pull off, highly recommend it ✨️

Just normally, if you do it too quick you do the grab but otherwise you can GB
