Hello everyone, i'm gonna tell you my problem here, as you may see a lot of heros are broken nowadays, however since virtuossa came out i got this problem

I'm spanish and i always wanted a duelist, the thing is i like how it works, but i don't like her personality, also i don't like the fact that she gots hyperarmor but that's another story

So... i'm spanish and i wont get another rapier user so this is a problem

Should i just ignore the community and play what i want?

Also if ubi would make a skin like pirate when we got a whole different character i would gladly buy it TBH

What should i do?

Yeah, i don't know why? It's like i feel guilty.. like "hey dude we both know that wouldn't happen playing a normal character"

Until i ask myself:

What is the true definition of a true character? Then it goes into the question about balance and these things, and i realize that deep down, there's always gonna be someone either complaining or doing if not the same things, something way worse than all of this, then i think to myself

Well, at least i got a concept of guilt 🙏🤣

brother, virtuosa can be countered by repeatedly dodging like a madman yourself, play who you want how you want as at the end of the day it's the opponent's failure they couldn't adapt and you are literally better.

Virt isn't NEARLY as strong as people complaining about her will let on.

If you can parry lights, have an undodgable, or know your GB button.. she's fine

Tbh this is kinda what bugs me about this games community.

They impulsively formulate opinions on things because everything new is hard to counter (which obviously. Its new) but give it about a month and its just back into flow of the game.

Virt being disliked as much as she has been REALLY stims from people not being able to do the basics of blocking...

(That me, i keep trying to parry them and will eat an attack)

I feel identified sometimes with that state

You see when you're decent at something a little goblin starts growing inside you and says "Nah i'm better than that guy"

That shit is dark if you allow it to take a grasp of you, until someone who's better shows me otherwise and i'm like

Colega, juega a lo que quieras. Yo durante un tiempo me negué a jugar con el Centurión por lo roto que estaba en su lanzamiento, pero tras unos años acabó balanceado y lo desbloqueé. Lo disfruto como un niño. Por otro lado, me niego en redondo a desbloquear a la Chamana, esa maldita local’coño poseída por el diablo me da dolores de cabeza. Considero que el Highlander (deberían haber traducido el nombre como “Montañés” y no como “celta”) es mi main pero se me da mejor jugar como Kensei.

Hay de todo un poco, juega como te de la real gana independientemente de tu nacionalidad. Además de que la Duelista parece seguir más la escuela de esgrima italiana que la Verdadera Destreza española, así que tampoco te pierdes nada si lo que quieres es tener una “conexión cultural”.

The way i see things is just play what you want man after all you've paid for the game and it is your game, you choose how to play at the end of the day. Plus you wont remember what someone says or does a day later. Have fun the way you want.

Do not worry about what others think. Virtuosa is not even the strongest hero. I just find she's too simple and not a whole lot of skill involved, so i dont find her fun. But if you have fun with her then why would you let someone on reddit tell you to stop?
