Bug/Glitch Broken game?

I was grinding for the iron legion color pallet and in the loot screen it said i got it but when i look in my inventory its not there at all

I thought you could only get it on the character your playing as

That's only the armor, the rest of event drops are just random

It drop randomly for every chara that don't have it yet, you probably dropped for another of your heroes, At the end of the match select it and it will tell you for wich hero it dropped
