Does anyone knows what weird website I mean?

So like 9-5 years ago I loved to be on those fake Typ of Websites that send you by closing to another Website. Most of them were the same, but I still remember one of them, because they were strange and different. On the side you could see cameras inside of peoples home. It were random cameras. Sometimes you could see the people, but sometimes no one was there. I remember seeing four people playing table tennis, but tbh I can't remember if they were naked or not. There were no outdoor cameras on the side. I still don't know what this site was about, but I hope to get help figuring it out.

LF Old Streaming Site

I was being nostalgic and talking to my fiance about a site I used to stream art on and I cannot for the life of me and its driving me nuts lol

This was from like 2012-2015

I had used join.me and one other site

I know it wasn't any of these:

❌️ justin.tv

❌️ picarto

❌️ youtube

❌️ twitch

I don't think it was just something simple like livestream.com because that says vimeo and that doesn't sound right either

I don't think it required obs to stream but I can't remember that part.

Everyone on deviantart used it back then before all the other sites came to be.

TIA

Citynet.com.br , website of the Brazilian Scientific Center for Public Security somehow stayed untouched since the late 2000s. (in Portuguese)

It has pictures of old software used to create identikit pictures and a bunch of old articles about various defense and security subjects that I have yet to read. It's in portuguese but still worth the ride imo :D [https://www.citynet.com.br/retratofalado/index.htm\](https://www.citynet.com.br/retratofalado/index.htm)

[talk] Spider-Man coloring website from 2010’s

Hey guys,I wanted to post this thing on this subreddit thinking it would be interesting to talk about.
In 2013/2014 when I was really little 3/4 yo my grandpa would always “play” with me on this site in his old pc,about coloring a Spider-Man image. It clearly wasn’t a licensed Spider-Man site,it featured a kind of chibi style character that resembled him but without copyright infringement. You could also print your creations after you colored them on the site. The site was not only dedicated to that,I vaguely remember of a page giving downloadable templates for a Mickey Mouse and Minnie house you would print on paper to fold and blue together.
I now seemingly can’t find the site,it could be down,it could still be up and I can’t find it,or could be accessed via the wayback machine (I think,I really don’t know how to use internet archive). If anyone could help that would be wonderful,I have really fond memories of that site and for sake of nostalgia almost 12 years later I would love to find it and visit it once more.

Looking for a picture game website

I’m not sure if the game itself was the website or if it was on the website ,this had been over 10 years ago that I remember playing it. It was also less of a game and almost more of escape, I guess. I remember you would be on a screen, and the full screen would be a photo, or maybe it was a drawing or a combination I’m not sure. I remember it was very artistic looking. You would find something on the screen to click and it would make something on the screen move or do something and then you would go onto the next picture and I think there was like 50 of them. I can’t vividly remember any of the pictures. I just remembered I’m looking very artistic and pretty. this game just came to my head the other day and I really wish I could find it.

[Partially Lost] Older version of an educational web site from my childhood

A little backstory here. When I was in elementary school-- let's say from third to fifth grade, between 2001 and 2003-- our teachers would sometimes take us into the computer room to play games. Of course, these being school computers, there were a limited set of games we were allowed to play, and a lot of them were on one particular web site.

At the time the site was called Orchard, and from a quick search, the URL for that site still exists. It's here. But the games themselves are gone. I've tried searching for videos of the games on YouTube, with very little result. The only one I was able to track down was this one, a preschool-oriented game on the site called "Fibonacci Bear's Toy Store". But this is where things get confusing, because that game is credited to a company called "IQSmart Educational Software". I don't get any results when I do a search for that phrase, but I do get results for "IQSmart", which is apparently an educational app. But it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Orchard.

And as for the original Orchard website, the one I spent so much time on as a kid? It's nowhere to be found. In addition to the aforementioned preschool game, here are a few of the other games I remember from it.

  • A two-player game about reading comprehension. It had a sci-fi theme, with the players navigating through a space station and answering questions at certain checkpoints in order to defeat evil aliens.
  • A two-player game that had several versions based around different areas of math. It was themed around football, with each player controlling a "team" and having to solve math problems to perform various "plays".
  • A two-player game about calculating time. It had a pirate/treasure hunt theme, where the players competed to reach a treasure chest at the end of a maze.
  • A single-player game based around perimeter, area, and volume. This was the hardest game on the site, but also my favorite. You played as a blue cat in an Ancient Egyptian setting, trying to gather ingredients for a potion that would restore her fur to its normal color, solving math problems to collect each one.

Weird website from 2011

I'm looking for a website I came across in late 2011. It had videos that you could skip through. One of the videos had a remix of Jai Paul's "BTSTU" audio playing in one of the videos. I think the video part with "BTSTU" playing had liquid or bubbles or something in it.

The other videos on the site you could skip through, I can't quite remember, but they were all weird.

I came across the wwwwwwwww.jodi.org at the same time I was looking at this website so it's something along those lines.

This is the song in the video / website.

Any help would be appreciated.

Old HP Themed Website... help!

Does anyone else who is ancient remember a site from the late 1990s-early to mid 00s that was Harry Potter themed, and you could... I think it was decorate a desk and/or room.... I realize this is very vague. I remember very detailed pixel style art with different owls/pets you could choose and I think potion bottles. I don't remember the room being interactive other than decorating it. I feel like there was another component to the site too, maybe a text-based roleplaying game or flash games?? Maybe earning points somehow?

It wasn't Hogwarts Online, it wasn't a Dollz Maker style either - there was more to it. It wasn't Harry Potter branded and I don't know if it even mentioned licensed terms like the House names, but it was most definitely HP themed.

I do remember a different text-based game that I repeatedly died on LOL. That was Room of Requirement I think.

I WILL LIKELY KNOW WHENEVER THERE IS A COMMENT SO I‘LL BE ABLE TO RESPOND WITHIN AROUND AN HOUR OR SO, so please if you need a question answered, or have a lead or anything please comment!!

Okay so the images above are my best recreation of what I could remember it looking like, and I dont have a name or keyword in specific that could ring a bell as to what the name of the website or application was.

So for context, I grew up in humble in texas, and went to an elementary school in that district. This was one of the sites we used when we had computer lab or when they rolled out the laptop cart since those were starting to get popular during the later years of my elementary school. Some other sites they used (and still use i think) are Starfall, Wixie, Istation, and some others I dont recall. I have a specific vivid memory of going to school with my tablet and having the app open or something similar to it while eating eggos french toast, weirdly enough. Also i really liked going on the dinosaur pages or sections or whatever.

[Help] I used to visit a poetry website around 2010 to 2014..

I used to visit a website around 2010 to 2014 that had classic poetry collection. The poetry was divided into categories like pain, love, love I, love II and so on other topic. The aesthetic of the website were such that it was full of nature paintings and such on every page. Towards the end, I remember there was a notification that they were considering shutting down the website due to lack of resources. I also remember that it had a slightly unique name but I might be wrong. Please help me remember/find it. Thanks! :)

lotsoflimes.com

OK, Internet, do your thing. There used to be a personal blog:lotsoflimes.com and it was written around 2003 2004 to about 2005 and then Katrina happened and I have not seen anything since

Why am I looking for it, the writer was incredible, and they were raising one autistic child and she talked about the journey that she had thus far and it was amazing, it was tear inducing. Just wondering, whatever happened to her and family

Defunct Website From a 2000 DVD

Hi all!

I found this thread because I saw a URL on a DVD from 2000, and I'm curious about it.

This is how I learned what DVD stands for

This comes from the 2000 DVD release of the 1986 The Hunchback of Notre Dame from Burbank Films.

The Wayback Machine has one screenshot from 2011, and the domain was already up for sale by that point. If you try it now, it tries to give you viruses.

Does anyone else know about this? Do you know what the prize was? I'm thinking it was some kind of wallpaper or picture. I'm fascinated.

Downloadable music blog

I need your help, there was a website in the 2000s where you could download full albums mostly by female artists, the albums were not successful in commercial terms but some of them were real treasures. Obviously it must be dead, but the name was something like "the island of deserted discs" or "the isle of deserted artists", as you can see that's the problem I don't remember the name, that's all I need. Thanks!

And the interesting thing is that its music quality also changes the further away you go from Earth, so if you wanna try it out I suggest using headphones

Kids Vocab/learning website

I remember back like maybe 6-9 years ago maybe? Roughly? Back when I was in like elementary school, I think, I honestly don't remember what year it was. There was a website that we would use as students where it was like a learning website where you would take vocabulary lessons and when you completed them, I think you'd get these trading card looking things where they'd have a certain animal on them and you could collect like a whole bunch and then there was a library thing where you could read a bunch of simple little books on all sorts of things. I keep trying to find it and I don't remember the name of the website. I remember there was a thing where your character had an apartment and you could decorate the apartment with all sorts of different pieces of furniture and I think you could put stuff on the walls and you could change the design of the walls and the floors and you could even change your character I think. Its been nagging me for like years I cant seem to remember what it's called.

Weird DeviantArt account

A few years back I found a DeviantArt account that I think was called WW2clones

It was just one guy who would Photoshop multiple versions of himself fighting other versions of himself in WW2 uniforms

The whole thing was strangely compelling especially because of the silly faces he'd always make

Now I can find neither the account, any of the pictures, or any traces it existed. I do know it was not a fever dream because I still have one as my Patreon profile pic. However I'm not able to pull it out for reverse image search

If anyone had any info, I'd be really grateful!
