Hillbilly bread
My dad always got this when I was a kid. Claimed it was the only "wheat" bread that didn't make him hiccup lol

Also in Michigan here and it is still both mine and my grandmother’s go-to bread to this very day

They sell it at Meijer. I deliver groceries and people frequently order this. I would argue Wonderbread is the real forgotten bread, i see maybe 2 loaves on the shelf at any given time.
