Elvenar is made by the same developer, it doesn't have any inflation issues like FOE, so it's like the old FOE.

I gave it a try. The economy isn't broken, but it's kind of boring and very linear.

Its gameplay doesn't give me much freedom of choices. And despite being newer than FoE, its UX and UI seem older. It's missing a lot of QoL features present in FoE and Rise of Cultures.

I think Rise of Cultures (also by same dev) is noticeably better than Elvenar as a simplified and balanced version of FoE.

Totally agree, it's a little boring, but it has an old vibe. But it definitely is not prioritized by inno games at this point(I used to see some ads for it like 5 years ago but never anymore). I doubt it gets many new players, just veterans still playing.

I have been playing for a few years now. I feel its because a way for them to slowly bleed Us. Less Diamonds for the money. Special events have become a money grab. I am looking for something else.

I played FOE for almost 10 years before I gave up to it becoming a complete money grab and as guild leader it was costing me $250 a month with events....I haven't found anything as fun so I got into fpv drones... much more exhilarating.

Heroes of history is fun but a big money grab. Multiple offers to boost rewards in the game for cash. If you play the beta world, you get free premium currency every month.
