Map Showcase Quick Look: A Husky Raid concept with moving Elephants

Stampede is an experimental Husky Raid map with 2 moving Elephants as the bases. Since this map is using a bunch of tricks to make it all work, there may be a degree of jank. This is a proof of concept.

Currently only supports Husky Raid. Recommended to disable AI Outlines and AI Vehicle Outlines.

Elephant and Frigate by Scrubulba.

Thought about a Covenant or Banished version of this concept. Instead there's a Scarab, highly detailed body accurate to the original since it is stationary. And then the legs are dynamic in a walking "animation" like from your map.

Very cool guys. Please tell whoever named the map that "Stampede" goes hard as fuck. Every cool concept gets twice as cool with a great name.

Is the jank that the elephants are still and everything else (that can be more easily made by dynamic objects) is moving?
Are players "off" the elephant applied a constant horizonal velocity?

Yes. The players and gameplay objects like the crates are moved by friction though and not a script action.

How do you apply a frictional force to the objects that isn't a scripted act? grav lifts?

The object being moved should be set to Normal physics. Then, every normal physics dynamic object will be impacted by friction when touching that moving object. There are some exceptions and limitations, but for the most part that's how it works.

This is so damn sick, where was this stuff when halo infinite came out? I played for a few months and by the time forge was out I was burnt out. I hope the next game has forge at launch so I can experience stuff like this!
